Ah, that was it. I take it she knows the ins and outs of the story behind the film, as well as it's inaccuracies too, then?Oh, I'm sure she does. She's writing on masculinity in Irish film and literature--focusing on fathers and sons, and prison, and ethnic and national politics, and constructions of power and gender and all that stuff. She's really interested in masculinity studies -- which is sort of the theoretical compliment to feminist theory. [/literature geek] I work on the western hemisphere, so I can't really comment more.
