haha yeah i actualyl talked about that with someone, one of the students said today taht there biggest complaint was that outside the walls there wasnt as much to do as other schools. (unfortunitly westwood was metioned). They already bought 4 floors of the raddison hotel for more freshman housing. USC also have the second largest private police service and there only 2nd to the secret service.

Does football make a school's academics great? If so, we might as well just start calling Vince Young a Nobel Prize candidate.
SC has the greatest academics out there, the guy who invented the cell phone went to USC. That's a good stat. And Vince Young would only get half of the nobel piece prize because you have to be able to do it all, not just run away from the violence. :D

Why would you consider USC when you can have top-flight academics at UCLA in an absolutely gorgeous area the thought of a mugging doesn't have to cross your mind when you walk off campus? My dad is an SC alum and he was still trying to push me to UCLA, before UCI threw a full ride in my face.
And trust me, I grew up in Irvine/Newport, I know all about the rich druggies. Big Nate will be sorely disappointed if SC buys the surrounding area.

Why do they need that much police in the first place?

So I celebrated March 14th yesterday. I must say it has become my new favorite holiday :p Started off at Frankie & Johnnies in Rye, a wonderful steak place, had a filet mignon. Easily the best filet I've had in a loooong time. Then back to her place where the night was topped off in the proper March 14th way.
For those at home who don't celebrate this high holy day, I urge you to get into it as soon as possible. No pun intended.

My hockey team won 5-1 last night and today I found out that I am finally going to be able to watch a Manchester United game on TV for the first time in a month. It's the WBA game.

Both my housing lottery and class selection turned out excellently, and I'm dominating the hot chick draft. I'm happy. :D
