yes, right now its raining dunks, and in a couple seasons it could be raining rings and the cavs could be the reigning kings of the NBA. WAAAY off topic here but LeBron is getting me into basketball again. He's a great comparison to Rooney. Powerful, fast, can beat damn near everyone can shoot from distance and will do something that will make you go  every game.

i totaly agree, he's the perfect person to bring the NBA back, he's better then jordan and is the biggest attraction out there. I wonder if he'll resign with cleveland. This is one of the reasons that the NBA age limit is a bad call because now thye cant have peopel like LeBron enter the league. But anyways back to soccer.

Woah woah woah, son...slow down. Please tell me you're not talking about Michael Jordan?

yeah thats what im talking about, he's better then jordan was. Mark my words he'll be a greater individual player then joardan was, he'll be a legend. He might not have the same amount of rings because of a lack of team support but he'll be better.

better than MJ? are you absolutely positive? Maybe you're too young to remember just what an impact he had on the game.

Just one problem with LeBron: Kobe is better.

yup, dont get me wrong Jordan is a basketball god, but when LeBron is all done and finshed (unless he gets injured or completely blows up) he'll have better numbers then MJ did.

you also have to realize, the game has changed since MJ, so the possibility of him having "better numbers" is there, but guess who was the catalyst in this change, yep that's right, good ole MJ

yeah i completely agree with you in that aspect with MJ, there will never be another player/person like him. (not number wise though)

Before we entirely attcak Prymetyme with his absurd belief that Lebron is better than Jordan..Let's keep in mind that he is too young to remember what the NBA was before Jordan, and what it was while he was there... He is also to young to have actually seen Jordan at his best....

Don't even get me started on todays NBA player versus the likes of Jordan etc.. In terms of how they handle themselves off the court...

Honestly, it seems whenever I'm NOT looking, there they are! I'd complain, but..... I don't know how to finish that sentence.

I'd complain, but, even when I'm not getting any, I still have two good hands.

As for those LeBron/Jordan comparisons. I wonder if the youngster even remembers watching Jordan in his decline, much less in his prime. For me, it's the rings, baby. When LeBron threepeats (copyright Pat Riley), then this debate can begin.

LeBron can't be compared to MJ yet. Jordan was an alltimer. He's up there with the greatest to have played the game. If LeBron continues to get better than maybe, 10 years down the road we can think about a comparison. Unless he wins 6 rings in those 10 years there's no way he's going to be noted as better than Jordan prior to that.

LeBron is a very good basketball player, he doesn't work hard enough on defence though and he doesn't have the ability to will himself into the perfect player that Jordan did.

What do I mean by that?

Anybody remember when Rodman got suspended for 3 games at some point? Jordan's point totals dropped for 3 games with averaging about 20pts a game. Oh yeah, he also grabbed 45 rebounds or thereabouts in those 3 games

Against the Lakers in the playoffs he runs down the court and dunks on some insignificant guard and someone yells from the sideline, hey mike, pick on somebody your own size. Next possesion he steals the ball and then dunks on Divacs and jogging backward he yells... "that big enough for you?"

There were several occasions when I thought God dressed up as Jordan to mess with us humans.

Anybody else see the ad for the Jordan XXI? I had chills after seeing that...

I'm happy i was one of 4 people not rooting for Chelsea at the pub and got to see them feel dejected and forlorn. Man, i love it when they feel that way, it makes me happy. :)
