i think most of it comes down to the fact that when toure arrived at highbury he was a virtual unknown.

Many if not most of Wenger's signings have been unknown players or players that people have given up on. He knows how to find the diamonds in the rough.

Lets all hope Adebayor is going to be one of these so called diamonds in the rough. What about Theo? Is he a diamond in the rough or is he an already well known player. Until this season I had never heard of him before.
