1) Brian McBride (his play at Fulham has been fantastic)
2) Borgetti- no justification needed here
3) Donovan (when he plays forward, like w/ the Galaxy then he's the best, but since he's in Midfield a lot, I dropped him; plus he failed to do enough for Leverkusen.)
4) Yorke- single handedly taking TNT to the WC
5) Radzinki- Canada's star in the EPL
6) Ruiz- Too bad he won't be in WC
7) Wanchope- CR's leading goal scorer
8) Ralph- I wonder how he likes Russia?
9) Eddie Johnson- had break through year, then got hurt, we'll wait and see what his future holds.
10) Dely Valdez- history of incredible play for Panama, or De Rosario- one of Canada's finest and can really hit the long shots
Concacaf needs more strikers playing in Europe, and playing for lower division teams.

Gomez plays both midfielding and attacking positions
1-Second Forward (most of the games, with chope in the NT or Sabo in Saprissa)
2-Attacking midfielder (when the CRNT plays only with one fw)
3-Left wing (when the CRNT or Saprissa is playing with 3 fwds)
4-Center forward (when SABO is out in Saprissa)

4) Yorke- single handedly taking TNT to the WC
Did you watch any of the games?
Yorke played consisently well in the atttacking midfield holding position, keeping the team together, but you can't say he singlehandedly took the team to Germany. That statement applies to no one, because it was a huge team effort, but if you want to use it, the statement can only apply to Stern John (1st goal at home against Panama, last 2 goals (including the winner), against Guatemala, two goals against Mexico plus a penalty he mixed after earning it himself.
The simple equation is, Stern John scores, Trinidad and Tobago wins. From the time the hex started (march 2006) excluding the last Bahrain match, thats how it worked, including the Gold Cup...

I agree with you, Yorke was not the trini here, Stern was it.

Stern John may score now, but the best player of all time to come from Trinidad and still be activily playing and playing well is Yorke. 1999 European Champions League title w/ Man. Utd, anyone? No one else in Concacaf can claim that. Yorke is ancient and still playing incredibly well; he may not be their main goal scorer, but without him that team would dead in the water relying on Glen to run the offense from midfield.

Good lists so far. Suazo is definitely near the top of my list, and while McBride isn't a pure finisher, he is extremely effective and right near the top as well.
Some that haven't been mentioned but deserve to be near the Top 10:
Blas Perez
Marlon King
Rob Friend
Jason Roberts

Anyone who doesn't rate McBride as concacaf's current top striker should try watching some soccer. He's already scored 9 goals this season. He's been a regular premiership goal scorer for the past 4 seasons. Borghetti scored a lot of goals in Mexico, but the standard doesn't compare to the premiership and he can't get a game for Bolton. It took him until this month to score his first league goal. That said if he gets a run in the team I think he can match McBride's scoring prowess . IMHO Wigan's Jason Roberts is better than Borghetti and has more physical ability than McBride. He'll be concacaf's best within a few years. He's not very well known because he plays for a very small country.

those are good points but borgetti plays on a much better team than mcbride. how many years does mcbride have in the premiership? how many years does borgetti have in the premiership?

FYI, Glen is a striker not a midfielder. Any Yorke is the most successful striker in Concacaf due to what he has achieved in the game, but I have to disagree with you. I think TT got to the playoff and the hex because of one man's goalscoring heroics. That man is Stern John.:)
Let me see here, brace against Guatemala, scored the vital away goal against Panama, and scored another brace against Mexico to guarantee a 4th place finish for the Reds. No other player besides Jared Borgetti was as lethal as Stern John was in front of goal during the hex of 2005!
