So what happens if we tie again? Do we do an overtime/ penalty shootout?

Nice badge benni :)
Zinn, I think away goals only account in extra time. After that it'd be penalties.

I do try my best... you know... *feeling smug*
I know this is random, but Im watching Arsenal lose to Everton, or the hilights, and this day just gets better and better.

This should be an interesting matchup. If we come on strong and stay away from always playing the longball, we should be ok. I do not want to see us play the way we did today. Since we should have Ronaldo back, we'll have a little more creativity in midfield, and that should do us nicely.

Ronaldo is suspended for three games right? Or the Carling cup doesnt count?

Crap, that's a good point... I'm not sure. If he is out, then just scratch what I just said.

I'm praying that O'Shea isn't going to recover from bruised ribs, so that we'll be forced to use other options.
I'd probably like to see the following line-up against Blackburn:
......................Howard.........................
Neville.......Vidic.........Brown...........Evra
..............Fletcher.......Giggs...................
..Solskjaer.............................Richardson
..................Ruud.......Rossi....................
SUBS: VDS, Bardo, Rooney, Rio, Saha
And then for the Wolves game on Saturday:
.......................Howard.........................
Bardo........Vidic.........Pique...........O'Shea
.......................Smith...........................
..........Solskjaer............Richardson..........
.........Ronaldo..................Rossi..............
........................Saha............................
SUBS: Steele, Gibson, Rooney, Giggs, Fletcher
Rooney really needs a rest or else he might burnt out before the end of the season (and England will lose in the group stages, hehe).
EDIT: For you 4-3-3-haters, the lineup against Wolves could easily change into a 4-4-2 by pushing Richardson infield and having Ronaldo on the left flank.

Same team against Liverpool to play Blackburn more or less I would hope. Maybe rest Rooney but keep him on the bench.
Blackburn are good and easily capable of getting a win or a 2-2 if not played properly.

Rio needs to start against Blackburn, imo. with the league as good as Chelsea's and us out of Europe, the FA & Carling Cups are what our season will rest on. I would suggest starting Rooney and playing him until we have the match more or less sown up, and then giving Rossi the start against Wolves, since Blackburn are full of guile (e.g. cheating, hacking, etc) and that is something Rossi does not seem to have the build/experience for dealing with yet, imo.
What I would like to see:
-------------Howard-------------
Neville---Ferdinand---Brown--Evra
Giggs----Smith---Fletcher---Richardson
----------Rooney--Ruud----------
Subs: VDS, Vidic, *Solskjaer, Saha, Rossi/Saha
*While I would love to see Ole start, but given how important this game is, coupled with the ultra-physical nature of Blackburn and Ole still being far, far from over his injuries it is just too big a risk to start him, imo.
And for Wolves:
---------------VDS---------------
Neville----Vidic----Brown-----Evra
Park---Ferdinand--Fletcher---Giggs
-----------Ruud---Rossi-----------
Subs: Howard, Silvestre (:(), Smith, Solskjaer, Saha/Rooney
Park is meant to be back to fitness for this one I think, but if he is not it might be worth giving Solskjaer another step up in his return and starting him. Rossi should be able to step up to this challenge as well, as CCC teams basically never see talents like this. I also think this could be a good game to try Ferdinand in CM (taking into account Scholes will probably be out) and to start Vidic. I was thinking it might be a good idea to rest Ruud, but it's time to see how Rossi does alongside him, I think... plus Saha seems to be getting greedier by the game (and not just in relation to Rossi). If this formation is failing at halftime, or shortly afterwards, all we have to do is bring on Smith for Vidic, Brown or Rio and put him in CM, and if there is an emergency then we can throw Rooney on. But that is trapsing off the subject...
2-0 to United. Pedersen is left speechless having not scored against us. ;)

Anyone afraid of a letdown in intensity by our boys after such an emotional win against the scousers? I'm really hoping that we can find the same intensity to play the Blackburns of the world as we do when facing the Liverpools and Chelseas.

Yes, I really hate how this teams plays well against the big boys but then gives it away alot to the little guys. (Not that I don't love beating the likes of Poo and Mafia and playing well against Arsenal, but lets not lose anymore easy ones guys..)
Hopefully, we can field an pseudo-second team lineup for the Blackburn game and come out with a small victory, then maybe do the same against Wolves to rest the big guys.
Though we always say "rest Rooney" and then if something goes wrong... "Ferguson is an idiot... he should have started Rooney.. not waited until the 75th minute to bring him on!"*
*Though I do think he is getting on. :)

Lads, could you please relax on this... we don't want the Sun reporting infighting amongst United fans, and the press using this as another reason we are 'falling apart.'

You really need to be more lenient/tolerable towards newbies.
