Apparently Scolari denies the rumors that he has been interviewed for the English position.

Davies, Palios, SGE all having line-ups, doggy fashion, over a desk at Soho Square with that fat slapper, whatserfcukiname Alam - I personally, don't know what to believe.........

why the desperation to appoint before the world cup anyway?

if mcclaren is the frontrunner (and god help us if that is the case) it's not as if he's going anywhere, it's not like if we don't appoint him in the next 72 hours, he's going to be installed as brazil's coach for the next 10 years.

why rule people out by enforcing a silly deadline - obviously anyone else in charge of a national side will not want the mess of being appointed as the next england coach shortly before the start of a world cup.

idiocy.

because they are going to appoint O'Neil

Of course. And this McClaren talk is just a ruse; they'll pretend they're about to appoint the worst English candidate that can be plausibly considered, and then switch to O'Neill at the last minute when everyone is desperate enough to ignore the fact that he's Irish, as well as not that much better a manager.

I was hoping for scolari or allardyce .
with hiddink as an outsider .

1)mcclaren
2)curbishley
3)o neil

I wont miss Sven unless the replacement turns out to be horrific.
Sven has been very mediocre.

If only Sven had kept his dick in his trousers instead of rogering every 2 bit slut who crossed his path the tabloids would have had nothing to write about?

well, he was living with that italian bird he'd been going out with for years at time (and still is now) so he's not really single is he.

but anyway, anyone who gets involved in the england job should know not to be so indiscreet, and should certainly know not to talk to dodgy people wearing bad sheik outfits. it comes with the territory. and the £5m a year pay cheque.

as an aside....anyone notice that of the bottom 15 teams in the EPL every one one of them is managed by a British or Irish manager...??

IMO opinion there were two main candidates for the England job and neither will now get it.....I see a melt down of the Turnip or Klueless variety on the horizon...

Is Allardyce not interested? Sort of tailed off following this.

Allardyce would be the one English manager I wouldn't immediately laugh at. Ugly football, but I think he's got an eye for talent and has outmanaged Wenger before.

At the moment he couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag :o  ;)
