With all the put-downs on Mathis recently from coaches and fans, isn't it kind of strange that Mathis' goal is featured as the number ONE video highlight on the fifa world cup web site.

No surprise there, it was a very nice goal, one of the better goals of the tournament. The only person to have failed to appreciate it was perhaps Bruce Arena.

Personally I can do without again hearing the "THAT'S WHY HE'S HERE" proclamation from Jack-in-the-box. That being said, it was quite thrilling at 3am on gameday.
