So you are going to Sarasota next week? Should be nice weather. Much better location AND weather from all the fun places I get to go! :)

Yeah, I'm presenting a paper on the design, numerical modeling, and construction of a series of breakwaters here in CC bay (I can send you a copy if you want to read it! It's really good!;) ). I'm then heading over to Miami for the weekend to hang out with some friends. The funny thing is, over the years, I have watched less and less american football, so it never occured to me until recently that my return flight is right in the middle of the Superbowl. :o Glad I don't support either team.

Yeah, I'm not too upset about missing it. Of course, because I say this and I'll be flying, it will probably be the best game ever!;)

Was going to post something cute about the best game ever being Super Bowls with out Dallas, but sadly Dallas has played in a lot of Super Bowls..... :o

Back from break. Had to pick up the family Caravan from a diagnostic check. Turns out the light was there to tell us the gas cap wasn't on tight enough! Yay. $40 bucks for that brilliant news.

Can't gripe about the playoffs too much. I appreciated the solid gameplans and execution by the Steelers and Seahawks, even if the games weren't close. Plus it makes the ridicule of certain plays and strategies all the more fun watching things unravel. (Dear Denver, try the hurry up offense sometime!)

Hmm, thanks for the heads up, but probably not going to go. Just got one of those Southwest "Dings" - $97 round trip Philly to Chicago for April. Are you still thinking about flying out of Philly with me?

probably just going fly out of nyc...i imagine I can grab a cheap-y flight here too....I really really have to be careful with my vacation days this year as I have to be ready for JAMAICA bwoy!
