How about a nice Suzuki Samurai? i saw a pimped out off roader today, kinda brought back some memories. I checked out that new Toyota, kinda ugly. The old school ones were alot cooler.

The old FJ's are definitely classics, but I like the new ones. Be interesting to see how it looks in person. The other dream I have is to get an old on and re-do it. There is a place in New Braunfels (btw San An and Austin) that has a bunch of the old models. An old FJ wagon would be a coup.

I am so sick of my car but it won't die! Its one of the ugliest things I could own but it gets 38 mpg and keeps on truckin'

Saw a bumper sticker last night that would fit perfectly on it: "I must feel really secure about myself to drive this car"

Game on! I got a '96 Saturn that works (imperfectly, mind you), and that's about the only thing 'ol Jim's got going for it.

(Side note: It was Jen's car first, hence the male name. My three previous rides were all lovely ladies.)

Can a truck actually be seen in person? ;)

I am in kind of the same situation, my truck (94 Explorer) keeps runnning. The A/C still works and I only use it to get from home to work.

The new FJ is pretty cool though.

I've got a 2001 Outback, and I think my milage is getting worse. This latest full tank has expired in only 262 miles. Perhaps a tune up is in order. However, I'm thinking that a new catalytic coverter (which is needed) should help. Does this sound plausible?

I drive the shit out of my car almost every day. I've put 120k on it in four years.

Yeah, I've heard other people say that about their Outback...mileage went from bad to worse.

I get 370 miles/tank in my jallopy.

We ordered Kyla's first "big girls" bed the other day and it should be here soon. It will be interesting to see how it all works out. She has not trouble sleeoing in a bigger bed, its keeping her in it!

You mean she falls out when she's sleeping or she gets up and roams the halls looking for you?

That is a tough one. They do tend to wander more once they get the big bed....... very cute bed though! :D

Julia went nuts when she got her first bed. Like "Up all night" became her soundtrack! Just remember, Cam: Each time they get up, just put them back into bed without saying a word or showing emotion. Eventually the thrill wears off and after a day or two they'll treat the bed with the reverence it deserves.

Now, as for keeping them in there when they wake up about 30-60 min early, I've no clue.

Off to lunch with Julia today. Mrs. GG and I are trying to play nice after an ugly start to the day.

Low gas mileage? Don't forget to check tire pressure. Our van struggled mightily until I realized I'd been driving on 2 low tires.

Good point GG. I'll check that when I go out to lunch.
