Rick - Thank you Manilow style [Archive]

Rick,

Just a word of thanks for the tickets last weekend, had a great time
the
entire trip. Game day was amazing, at DAYBREAK, we left the hotel and
went
past the COPACABANA cafe. The weather was suspect, just like a WEEKEND
IN
NEW ENGLAND. Craig was estatic as we reached the stadium "LOOK LIKE WE
MADE
IT" he yelled. "ITS A MIRACLE". The atmosphere around the stadium was
electric COULD IT BE MAGIC? Imagine my first Arsenal game and a hat trick
by
Henry. His play was like BEAUTIFUL MUSIC I swear on his last goal he
pointed
to me and said "THIS ONE'S FOR YOU"!!! I can't believe he plays like
that
ALL THE TIME.

The walk to the pub was fun w/the buzz from the game. I MADE IT THROUGH
THE
RAIN and arrived at the Arsenal pub for a few pints. Craig wanted to
leave,
i said LETS HANG ON and we had plenty more. SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD we
will
return to the new stadium and sing some of THE OLD SONGS with ONE VOICE
to
the beloved Arsenal. Unfortunately we had to return to the States, and
my
girl MANDY, but EVEN NOW i watch henry highlights TRYIN' TO GET THAT
FEELING
of the packed stadium on that historic day.

So thanks, it was a pleasure to meet you and spend some time in your
country.
ps, I am not gay, just have a lot of time and a lot of Manilow CDS
peace
out.

That is so cool... glad you had such a good time! On my last time at Highbury Henry got four goals against the dirty leeds and there is no way you can replicate that feeling. I must have drank a gallon of Carlsberg at the Gunners Pub and woke up the next morning in the fetal position in the hallway in front of my motel room door... keys in hand! I almost made it to bed.
