great hand and screenshot billy...
how is that website? should i be making a screenname for it now?
i had a guy bet into me when i had a straight flush before... poor sod.. hehe
PPP is good, although I keep getting sucked out on in it (lost me 3 of the last 4 tourneys, being ahead and all in on the turn and then screwed on the river... but it also doubled me up in a tourney I just finished and won).
About straight flushes, a mate of mine once hit two within an hour at a cash game, with the same guy bluffing him all-in on both occasions - we laughed, he cried (almost). That was my second straight flush ever, in 3-3.5 years of playing 1-4 times a week, often for 6-9 hours a session. I was due :D - the other was a king-high, btw.

Good stuff billy, only ever had one royal myself and that was in 5 cent/10 cent limit game and didn't even get to show it down as everyone folded at the river to my raise. :D

That's the thing... I always have "never" checked in the show winning hands option so didn't get the chance to...... then again I could hardly be proud for playing at that level in the first place. :(

Sometimes it can be pretty handy to show a bluff or a real strong hand, especially in tournys. I'll show a good bluff once in awhile to try and put someone on tilt. I'd be furious if I couldn't show a RF, never had one either.:(

you throw away your hand with out showing after someone folds or loses without showing.

Over at PPP, if you get a RF on a cash game (I am far more partial to tourneys, myself) they put $50 in your account by default. Shame I got mine in a tourney, but I'm not complaining (and I just won $40 more by coming 2nd in another tourney a few mins ago).

The fish swims through the ocean majestically, completely unaware of the sharks around the next corner.

Unfortunately, it's all I am able to play until I at least get a Lazer Card. Find the right table and you will have a good game... but you have to play for a respectable amount of money, because there are some ridiculous draws people will call on... and hit. Every. Single. Time.

Damn. I thought it was tonight. whew, glad you posted that. I was watching the tivo of Roma-Empoli. Totti had a Smithesque ankle break, not as bad though.

I've withdrawn my Paddy Power account. Might join somewhere else down the line, but PPP is a definite fix.

I've been following along with some games on FTP.net, I just hate jumping in unless I'm totally sure I get the rules. My friend has been playing online for years now, back before the fad started, so he's been pushing me into it.
