KC Hammers clearly used too many* starters, as they had a surprisingly easy win against Norse.

(* too many = more than I used :p)
i played Korn Fed and he apologized for using a few of his really good players, a "wonderful" top order rating! the storms that came throught he midwest really hit KC hard, knocking out power and stuff, so i'm sure battrick was far from people's minds.

My kids went outside and picked up the golf ball size hail and put some in the freezer for posterity :)

Scary day and night though.

I used all starters iirc... forgot to switch lineups. funny, I dumbed down my team for an easy league match this week, so this friendly team is much stronger than that team.... sorry. Good match though.
No need to apologize. We don't have a rule against playing first teamers do we? I used mine as well, in fact I only have 14 players so I don't even have half a second team.

There's no limit to the number of first-teamers you can use. I only have 14 players as well, and my first team would still get stomped by a number of second teams I see participating in the Cup.

well, i've got 4 guys who can come in and play 1 heavy batting/light bowling all rounder, 1 batsman and 1 keeper and 1 bowler. they aren't great, but 3 are former starters... w/ the rules on stamina and fitness I'm trying to expand my squad as my best bat is a U-19 player.

EDIT: Now I'm debating pulling my guy out of the NT because he's doing poorly and not playing to potential in the league.

Owens? I think his rating is higher than my entire team's combined.

Get his stamina up. Seargeant, on strong stamina, can play in both the NT and league match in a week and be at sublime fitness for both. If he has a short innings, he can even appear in the friendly, as he did this week.

Yes, I wasn't that particular about home/away when I set it up.

Nope, I was driving a rental though after totalling my car the week before.

My dad did that once. On the way home from coming up empty deer hunting, as a matter of fact. He tried to pass it off that he actually landed one.

This was two blocks from my house and my car kept going and got me home. The next day it wouldn't start, got it towed and insurance co. declared it a wreck :(

just blind luck really pulled him from the academy w/ respectable batting and stamina, decent concentration and 17 years old.

I've not trained him once in stamina and don't intend to until I've switched him from 3 nets to 2. I can't afford to let my team suffer for his cause.

The Huns used too many starters too*.

Don't they need to maintain personal fitness for league matches? Maybe not, if they're in a mostly-bot league...

(* too many starters = enough to beat me ;))
