West Indies II.1, if it's not too late. If it is, well, I've learned a valuable lesson.
Getting my ass handed to me in the Windies Cup today, so it looks like my Sundays are going to be free.

If someone doesn't make the right challenge in week 1, they are out and you are in!
I doubt that will happen as 18 of the 20 teams were in it last time. The newcomers will be watched carefully, however. :)

Borderliners are one of the top four teams in the country IMO, so there's no shame in that.

and incidentally where do you think your team falls? top 50? top 25? I think I'm a top 35 team despite how well I've done in the cup... BUT I'm hoping that with my new trainee/keeper i'll rise to a solid top 15 place by the end of the season.

Well... if you figure that at least the top two in my series are better than me and project that across II, plus figure in the four human teams in I, then I'm not top 12. I think my team deserves to be in II, so that definitely puts us top 40.

I'm second or third best in II.3. I'm not sure how that translates into overall WI rankings though because there are 3 bots in my series and I know there are a couple D.III teams that are stronger.

thanx... I've been a member there for awhile but i lost my bookmarks so I needed to find it again.
I guess I'm top 30, but even though I'm 2nd in the league I don't think I deserve that spot, I think there might be 1 or 2 more teams in my series better than me but I'm confident there are plenty of crap teams throughout DII who were fortunate to promote in the first season and have had a leg up on other mediocre teams but aren't quite up to snuff. I know that there are a defintely 3 teams in my old series that would have beat the same guys I've beaten thus far.

I'm feeling better about my team with the moves I've made and nets I've set up, but my goal in this is to come away without a wooden spoon. More than 0 points would be nice, too.

winningconnection won our reasonably close game. After looking at the ratings it's clear I need some more bowling. Not sure if it would've helped though considering Owens is a beast. 170 some runs on 120 some balls? WOW.

KC Hammers clearly used too many* starters, as they had a surprisingly easy win against Norse.
(* too many = more than I used :p)

I used all starters iirc... forgot to switch lineups. funny, I dumbed down my team for an easy league match this week, so this friendly team is much stronger than that team.... sorry. Good match though.
