Dear Mr. Moyes (since I KNOW you read BigSoccer):
Since you seem to have some problems making decisions in the transfer market, please allow me to assist you. I've done a bit of reading and, apparently, RKC Waalrijk striker Rick Hoogendorp is listed as for sale (http://www.v-bal.nl/nieuws/bekijk.php?id=8309&newstitle=Aanbieding%20voor%20RKC-speler%20Rick%20Hoogendorp) (translation below). If you have any sense in your head whatsoever, sign this guy on the cheap. From what I've seen, he's a great forward and I think he and Beattie would make one powerful combination up front. Oh, and the best news of all - he can finish!
Sincerely,
A Concerned Evertonian
Translation of article:
RKC Waalwijk have offered their #9 Rick Hoogendorp a contract extension through mid-2007. There is a lot of interest in Hoogendorp, other than SC Heerenveen, and RKC have already stated that no clubs have contacted them yet.
"We will talk with everyone next week," said manager Henry van der Vegt, and Hoogendorp's agent Arnold Oosterveer mentioned that there was some international interest.
