I'm very excited about seeing this young ENGLISH talent, but very concerned about getting burned on the price.

It will be interesting to see how this kid develops. Hopefully he learns a lot from Henry and grows into a valuable healthy player.

I pray that Henry and Bergkamp take this kid under their wings and mentor him like mad. Teach him everything!!

Maybe some Carling Cup action, if he isn't Cup tied already?

I was just thinking about that, I can't find anywhere that tells me for sure. It would be interesting if he was to get a run out on Tuesday.

I would think he'll mostly be making reserves appearances, atleast for the rest of this season.

yeah, so i wonder where he will on the reserves because its Quincy and Lupoli up front right?

No, it's Lupoli and Bendtner up front with Quincy on the wing. If the stories I've heard about him are true then Quincy had better watch out.

Well yeah i know, i think he can take any of these guys places, depending on where Wenger puts him.

Just been on Southampton's website, Walcott is cup-tied in both the League Cup and FA Cup this year.

I think with the Walcott deal now finalized, Quincy needs to be played as much as possible for the rest of this season so that a decision on his status can be made this summer.

I hate to give up on someone so young.....but he needs to show very soon that he "gets it." Otherwise, the club should try to make some money (assuming that can be done) from a sale.

I agree with playing Quincy as much as possible and if he doesnt improve on his finishing for the most part then i say loan him for the entire next season so he could get more competition. If he doesnt improve enough from that, then sold. I think Walcott and Smith (whenever he comes back) on the wings will be quite dangerous on the reserves.

So much for seeing him play on Tuesday night. Think they will bring him out and introduce him?

He will play some first-team football this season - likely in our less meaningful matches to let us get a look at him and let him build some confidence. He might even sit on the bench for a Champions League tie just to whet his appetite for beyond this year
