FSW is showing Espanyol play again this week. Thats right they're showing 19th place Espanyol games for 2 weeks in a row!!! If thats not reason enough to drop La Liga then I dont know what is.

This is really funny.
For years I've advocated here that I am a top-team snob, that when I watch the EPL I shun matchups like Fulham x Birmingham, Middlesbrough x West Ham, etc. I only watch games involving the top teams: Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastles, etc. I always get response like "what's wrong with Fulham?", "relgation battles are as entertaining", or BS like that...
I always wonder, what if these people are force fed with the middle of the pack matchups. No Man U, no Arsenal, no Liverpool. What will they say?
Well, this la Liga experience is the perfect illustration. People can tell us all their lusts about the bottom teams, but if you deprive them of Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool, they would lose their interest in EPL really fast. That's based on the whining here about FSW's la liga coverage. And the la liga coverage is not even about bottom teams only. They have covered Real Sociedad, Valencia and now Deportivo, all at the top of the table. It's only Barca and Real Madrid that are not available. Looking at where Barca is in the table and their performance all season, why is their absence an issue? People are only following the stars and hype?
In truth, people who campaign for more Birmingham, Fulham, West Ham, Aston Villa, etc. are really closet fans of marquee teams...

They show like 3 EPL games per week vs 1 La Liga game per week so if they are showing more games per week in a certain league then you can tolerate showing the midtable teams. If your only allowed to show 1 La Liga game per week and you show 19th place Espanyol 2 weeks straight then that is unacceptable. If your showing 3 La Liga games per week then I dont have as much of a problem with it.

I have been in Peru since August, and I catch FSW Latino America. I got to see Tottenham at least Once every two weeks, and my pick for the 4th best league in the World, the Argetinian league. I got to see the whole Apertura.
They have this announcer that does "El Classico de Domingo" I forgot what his name was, Gustavo something, but his commentating style is hilarious.
I have Digital Cable in the states, and I catch FSW and FSW in Spanish (while I was there for about two weeks, they played a show "Versus" that is on Cable Magico (the local cable provider in Peru) It was hilarious.

Espanyol defeated Deportivo 3-1 today so I guess they are good team then.

EPL: Good
Futbol Argentino: Bueno
Futebol Brasilerio: Good, if the CBF can get organized. Can't get rid of their flairing style of play.
Bundesliga: Gut
SPL: Dump it, too much "Ranger & Celtic" league
La Liga: Mix thoughts. SHOW Real Madrid or Barcelona or dump it. Don't advertise them if you not going to show them.
Chilean soccer: except for UC's Johnny W., don't care much.
Colombian soccer: Don't care.
Mexican soccer: No
French soccer: Don't care.
Dutch soccer: Bring it back (missed it, especially seeing Johnny O. playing :( )
Serie A: Bring it back too (and their smoke/fog :D )

And do you guys get your FSW from basic cable or dish or digital or what? I'm going to start e-mailing Cox daily begging them to add FSW.

I think the Italian games on RAI have commercial interruptions if I'm not mistaken.

The telecasts on RAI International don't. The commercial interruptions are on RAI Italia telecasts, which are the delayed telecasts sublicensed to Channel 31 in NY, International Channel, etc., i.e. the taped delayed telecasts on local/cable channels.

I don't know whether this has been mentioned previously, but for once I would like to see a Scottish Premier League match that didn't involve either Rangers or Celtic.
Why? Strictly from the standpoint of watching how the non-Big Firm clubs match up against each other.

I've gotten FSW!!!! :D
Here's what I would like to see:
SPL: one game a week, and like said above, I wouldn't mind seeing to non-old firm teams play every now and then. But I actually do want to at least marginally keep the SPL. I want more than just the Celtic-Rangers games even though those are the highlight.
EPL and FA Cup: 3 games a week during their respective weekends.
Lower English Divisions: One game a week as well as the promotion playoffs.
Spain: One game a week (with big teams too, etc.)
Holland: one game
France: one game
Germany: one game (the good ones, not Gladbach)
Argentina: one game a week
Brazil: one game a week
Copa Liberatadores: by only showing one game a week on Argentina and Brazil, there could be room for a Copa Liberatadores if possible.
Other leagues: how about a random game each week. Like the Czech league, Portugese league, Belgian, Korean, Nigerian, Chilean, Mexican, Bulgarian, Japanese, etc. It would be very interesting. It would also be a good way for FSW to find new leagues people want to see.
Internationals: show them like the Holland vs. Argentina. Qualifying would be great.
Worthington Cup: how about one of these every once in a while. At least the Championship. Anyone know if FSW is going to carry the championship game?
UEFA Cup: one game a week, but be very careful in the selection. That Liverpool game this week was pretty bad. From a defensive standpoint, it was interesting to watch, but I would much rather have seen the Celtic game.
And keep all the Rugby, indoor soccer, A League, US Open Cup, and try to get Concacaf Champions Cup.
I'd be set with this. An Italian game would be nice too. I'm not sure if what I mentioned above is possible, but its what I'd like to see.
And one more thing, I don't exactly agree with how they do replays. Some games they don't replay at all while others they do like six or seven times. I mean, if anyone didn't see the Crystal Palace vs. Leeds game, you must have been out of town. And today, they've shows Bolton vs. ManU three times!!!!! They should replay games an even number of times unless the game was just that important.

I dont think so. the Pub is charging a cover fee which means it probably is on PPV.

Yeah, it is on PPV...from SoccerTV.com:
English League Cup Final
Liverpool vs Manchester United March 2 at 9am ET/6am PT
LIVE on DirecTV and DISH Network PPV: US$24.95.
Getting back to the topic at hand, I wish that FSW would show the Eredivisie games again. I miss my Dutch soccer. :(
