Is it safe to assume that Arsenal has no interest in Lyon's Mahamadou Diarra? A defensive midfielder, has been solid in the CL for Lyon. Too expensive?

Per the BBC, Soton is a PLC as such when they make a move like this, they have to announce it to the stock market. We'll probably see it there before we see a news conference at the marble halls or colney.

Maybe it means it's all in the hands of the lawyers and bean counters now, and they're just waiting for i's and t's to get crossed and dotted.

i dont no who was talking about the GCSE's but im pretty sure that walcott has left school and finished his GCSE's as his 17th birhtday is in march. because of this it shud mean he left school and did his GCSE's in summer 2005.
i dont think he has actually had a medical yet, assuming Wenger isnt trying to cause a smokescreen then it sounds like we havnt had a decision in our offer yet.
“However, we are hoping to get a decision in the next 24 hours.”
hes saying a decision on something hasnt been reached, wether that is with the player or the club it doesnt matter, if a decision hasnt been reached with the player or club the no medical wud have taken place. but as i said, wenger might just be saying this as a smokescreen, im sure all will be revealed tomorow at some point

Erm as I pointed out walcott arrived for his medical about 4pm today.......They sort that out at the same time usually.

Well AW says 'as long as nothing is signed you cannot talk about it'. Sounds like that means that even thought he's just about signed he can't say yet because he has not officially signed as yet. I dont think Theo or the club have to make a decision.

Also, you say that he came in for the medical before 4pm, and Arsene said this at 4PM? So that means that the medical and whatever else he does is done probably later than usual. And im assuming he will be done with everything tonight, only thing left to be done tomorrow is the announcement.
CAN I ASSUME?

Lets Hope So. Rick is normally very good when it comes to letting us know when players are having medicals. As far as the times the medical was at 4PM and Wenger made this announcement earlier than 4PM so you got it the wrong way round. Just so you know.
