Well if you're goin to go with a young GK, then go with Frey..... Landreau, I just don't know....

whats wrong with landreau every time i've seen him he has been top notch wether it was at nantes or or les bleus, frey doesn't have nearly as many call ups as landreau and has spent a large part of his career on the bench and i believe that he is older than landreau

We're in soft deep poopy ! This said, we can't have an easy group everytime. At least if we qualify, the team will have a better perception of its value.

ya thats very true, it will definitely test the team and coach of that time and put them through some pressure and stress unlike our last euro campaign..... and i hope this doesnt sound bad but i hope we do lose one match right b4 the euros to like ukraine or anyone BUT italy so it brings the team down to earth unlike 2004 and greece.

well nothing brings a team down to earth like not qualifying for a tournament. seemed to do the trick in '94 though.

He's one year younger then Landreau and has been a starter every year that he has been in Italy. I don't know where you are getting this being a bench player thing?!?!?!

Yeah, Frey has done a pretty decent job of establishing himself in Italy and though currently injured, his stock is pretty high in the world of Serie A fantasy soccer.

Frey has done his cruciates in. I doubt he will be playing much between now and the summer - so his chances are slim to none.

I rank Itandje's chances higher than his.

Rame is still great, but old as dirt, Penneteau is stuck in L2 at the moment with Bastia, but it looks like they will get promoted.
