Anybody ever find that Subaru's ALWAYS need new CV joints?

I work for BMW so if anyone has any questions, feel free to post here. Of course I'm loving my 2005 Mustang GT. :D

I race SCCA Pro National and Club Regional and have for a little over a decade now.

If anybody has any racing related questions, or automotive performance enhancement questions, let me know. I've built 4 cars straight up to IT or Spec SCCA guidelines so I can tell you how to strap a rollcage in your 85 Buick Century and pretend you're Dale Earnhardt Jr. :)

Well every car they make has drive power going to the front wheels... so they're experiencing a lot of stress. Just be glad they don't have 4 wheel steering too! :)

Makes sense--they're pretty good cars, otherwise (we've owned a couple). It just seems that I've had to replace the CV joints on both of them. I've heard the same thing from other Subaru owners.

In BMW's case, you can't replace the U-joints in ANY of their driveshafts. You have to replace the whole driveshaft.
