I do think perhaps by looking through past posts "Stivi?!' would have seen that Finnan's crossing ability and the way he like to push up has been discussed.

Diana from Sampdoria is an interesting prospect, he's having a terrific season but Juventus are all of a sudden interested as well. It would be interesting to have an Italian in the team.

I agree Diana does look pretty good. He's 28 i think, so i don't see Rafa going to high on price.

Gerrard looks the likely candidate for right mid.
Most of our signings take a while to complete and I doubt Rafa will sneak a player into the team at the last minute.
We would like a new right mid, but we don't desperately need one.

On a serious not. . perhaps. . rumours are starting that Shawn Wright Phillips could be the subject of a season long loan move by Liverpool, according to the bastion of wisdom that is Foxsoccer.com, reporting from God Knows Whom.
Personally, he's the winger i'd always dreamed of playing on the right for us, so let a brotha dream this can happen.

Chelsea loaning players to Liverpool? If they wanted to sell him, I would be interested, but not a loan deal. And they have no reason to sell him to a rival, especially since money means nothing to them. The reason they got him in the first place was to keep him away from their rivals. I can't see Liverpool doing business with Chelsea in the near future.

That's the most likely scenario. . .but word has it that Moron-io is not convinced of SWP's abilities after seeing him play on a daily basis. Plus, i can't imagine SWP wanting to stay if Chelski are not going to play him as a starter in a World Cup year. . . which i guess, begs the question of why he went there in the first place.
To the contrary, it should be pointed out that SWP is also viewed by some as a sure-fire starter for Chelski, next season, when Robben takes a hike to Spain in order to save his dainty ankles.
