Well, while it seems clear that this recent sub-forum reshuffle has nothing to do with either Dead Fingers or Old Lady Hertha, I may as well voice my own disappointment at these events too. My apologies to both moderators if this seems like flogging a dead horse, but if each contribution helps restore the BVB forum then all the better. God forbid chatter might die down a little while the Bundesliga is on Winter Break.

Oh and lastly, to 'Ohk4', if and when our sub-forum does get reinstated, I hope you would join us in conversation there too, you are certainly more than welcome. Besides, with no European football and our club's debts in and around €100 million, you'll find we're a far less intimidating group these days...

Well here's your subforum back...hope you enjoy

Appreciate it though if you don't call into question why the Bayern forum is there ....do you seriously want Bayern stuff cluttering the German main-forum??? :D

I will add, that OLH and I did not ask for it to be taken down...the Supermods just did it. We were always fighting to get it back. Meaning??? It has nothing to do w/ bayern  or some sort of grand conspiracy and before you go complaining loudly in the other threads it is always nice to talk to your mod(s) and get the facts.

I have always liked this forum: jonam and footyfan1 are two of the best on Big Soccer, and not just the Germany forum. I rate you guys very highly!....and that's from a Bayern fan :D

Thx for reinstalling it (whoever this did)! :)

But where the hell are all the old threads?!?!? There were some really good ones in this forum like the trainings complex-thread that was already half a year old and now reactivated. That's now all gone or is there a back up?

I'm doing that right now...some of them are already dead for the most part and I won't resurrect them. I just put the most current ones up there for now, I'm going to do the rest now.

Ok all the threads that I can see are back up in BVB forum...9...make sure that there is always at least some traffic here or else Huss may go on a rampage again and we really don't want that. :D

Still this is a mere joke. Forums like Leicester, Palermo and Valencia were left untouched while we lost 95% of our archive. :-/

jonam, this was a superMod issue. we had no inkling that they were going to nuke the Dortmund forum. OLH can back me up on that. Also, get ready, cause there are going to be several forums around BS that are going to get cut. We just happend to be one of the first

Again, I apologize, I hope you guys know we did not know they were going to do this.

Oh, sorry. Wasn't meant to critise you guys, as I know you are doing good jobs. If we happened to be the first ones, that explains why there are other low-traffic forums untouched yet. Still I am wondering why the BVB forum was closed and then immediately went online again. Makes no sense....only that we lost most of our archive. :-(

And if

And if

check the general Germany forum. They did a huge thread dump..could be in there. See any, let me or OLH know and we will put it back in place. It went back online, cuz OLH and I had a "freak out" w/ the SuperMods. ;) :)

Let's quote a great man of modern times..........Al Bundy:

"I voted for you" (while shaking the hand of the president of the bank where Steve Rhodes works).

Dude, you're also invited to join our BVB e-mail list again. We talk all kinds of football, not just BVB. That goes for all of you guys. PM me for details on how to join.

BTW, we are also an officially recognized Borussia Dortmund Fan Club. BVB International Supporters. :D

Schweinsteiger and Deisler rumour

Actually it is not only a rumour but a quote by Bert van Marwijk. In
an interview one or two weeks ago he stated that Borussia was interested in those two players and wanted to loan them for the return
leg of Bundesliga. Bayern denied BVB as they need the players themselves.

Thats ridiculous....even more ridiculous than either Kluivert or Hasselbaink joining us IMO.
