One-and-a-half Bernard Matthews turkey escalopes,(in the oven now), half a bag of mixed leaf salad, two tomatoes and a bit of cucumber.

I'm frigging starving but have put myself on a severe diet and that is all I shall be eating today. Think I might have overdone it as according to my scales I've dropped 6 pounds since Sunday night.

I'm frigging starving but have put myself on a severe diet and that is all I shall be eating today. Think I might have overdone it as according to my scales I've dropped 6 pounds since Sunday night. That doesn't sound like enough food, RoM!! You need to eat at least minimum 1000 calories a day. If you work out, you need to eat a little more. I lost 35 pounds last spring in 3 months eating 1200 calories a day and working out regularly. 3-5 pounds a week is the most you should be losing. It's not just bad for you, but there is no way in holy hell you will stay on a lower calorie diet; your body will demand food. And try to spread it out over the day in small meals. [/your mother, giving unsolicited advice] :)

I am also dieting again, now that I've lost most of my excess weight, I need to lose a few more pounds so those muscles I've been working on can chisel on through. Sooo, I just had a banana and a cherry smoothie. Yummy. (Damn your french fries, Motterman!)

Holy kaw! My kind of thread :D

I usually cook for my meals, so anyways, today I cooked some korean bulgogi beef, and had it on a plate of rice alongside a wad of pre-made kimchi :D..

Striker's microwaved peanut butter is by far the weirdest thing on this thread  and RoM, cutting weight by diet alone has a limit, and it gets harder to lose weight just by starving yourself. Your body *wants* to survive, so depriving it of food for an elongated period of time will kick in some mechanisms that make it harder to lose weight by diet alone.. Exercise + a moderate diet will help much better. It's healthier too.

Your just losing muscles if your not eating enough. Thats how you look like lindsey Lohan if your interested. You just need to eat a little less than before. 1-2 pounds a week is a good rate.
