You guys are making me hungry again.

Hey is Popeyes as expensive there as it is over here on the islands?

Friggen chicken strips meal special (3 piece) is like 7 bucks over here, bra....

You add a chicken breast with that and it comes out to almost 9 bucks.

Its no wonder there are only 3 stores on Oahu total....the rest is Colonel Sanders.

The beans and rice be mightly special too.

Had some great food this week... yesterday alone I had. Turkey, Ham - glazed with a fruit tangy thingy, Lamb, Beef, Pork and Chicken. Oh, and goat. I also had some carbs somewhere but really, what's the point!?!

I don't get the appeal of sushi. I never had it, but I was in its presence, doesn't smell very tasty.

i used to feel the exact same way, but try some sometime. you can pick it up at your local supermarket. california rolls are the most popular kind, my favorite as well.

California rolls are fake sushi...

SirManc.. The appeal of sushi is that it's an extremely healthy food and if it's from a good place extrememly tasty as well.. and a word of advice don't buy sushi from a supermarket. When dealing with raw fish it's best to go somewhere that's reputable and buys it fresh each day.

So true. It doesn't exist in the Sushi bar menus when you go to Japan.

In other news, General Tso's chicken is fake Chinese food.

When dealing with raw fish

That's were the appeal dies for me. I love fish but raw? No thanks. I'm not Tom Hanks, I don't deliver parcels and I'm not on an island talking to a ********ing ball.

Food question;

If you were stranded on an island and you had no food there, you would surely die unless you eat. The only other person inhabitting the island would be a baby. A human baby. Would you eat it?

The baby would eventually die because there is no food. Even then, would still have to think about it, but it would be a lot more comforting not having to kill the baby myself.

Probably. If catching fish from the sea wasn't an option that is. The way I see it, the baby would die first anyway, might as well make use of it as callous as that sounds.

As for sushi, I had something once that was labelled as sushi but believe it was technically sashimi:confused:. Anyway, t'was most tasty.

Right now I'm eating "cool original" flavour doritos with a salsa dip. Delicious.
