I need an english to english dictionary again. What's a lollie? :o

I hope you feel better soon. Not to be too mother-hennish, but you should try to drink tea or soup in addition to your menu, to keep hydrated and soothe your throat.

Thanks, and don't worry about being mother henninsh, I usually lap up the attention when I'm sick and love people making a fuss. :o Will add soup to the menu.

Erm, now I'm gonna need an american dictionary.... a lolly or lollies = popsicles..... I think.

Frozen strawberry goodness on a stick. Well I say strawberry, more like strawberry flavoured syrup. A split meaning it has ice-cream (99% of the time vanilla) inside. You can sometimes get Raspberry splits but most of the time they're strawberry. 10 for 99p, and it eases the pain in my throat, can't go wrong. :)

I too have a sore throat. Been having it for near two weeks now. Also have a killer cough. The rest of my cold symptoms have vanished, but unfortunately the sore throat and cough are taking their sweet time.

Well I wish you a speedy recovery too and hope you're back up to full health soon. Normally I just get a really quick but severe burst of it but do hate it on the odd occassion where it's hung around like that. Hope you feel better.

Vanilla ice cream on the inside means it's a Creamsicle! Even better than a popsicle. I currently have a box of Orange flavored ones at home. Gooooooood stuff. Sick or healthy.

Thank you. A quick recovery to you as well. Had the same thing last year with the sore throat so I went to the doctor figuring I had strep. Sure enough the day of my doctors appointment I was nearing 100% and tests came back no strep. I'm figuring much of the same this time around and will just have to wait it out. :)

You eat all that before bed!! I couldn't sleep for hours if I ate like that, esp. the chocolate.

Tonight I had lamb and chickpeas, rounded off with some lime yogurt for dessert. Yummmm.

Doesn't seen to bother me. I've always eaten at weird times.

Had Chick-Fil-A for dinner.

Chick Fil-A is heaven on earth. Their chicken buiscuit is Proof of God. Am gonna open up a chain and employ all my deadbeat relatives. Put them to work everytime they ask for money.

Doesn't seen to bother me. I've always eaten at weird times.I guess for me, I'm always on the edge of insomnia, one false move and I'm up half the night. If I tried to eat right before bed, I'd be a goner until 4am. Also, I know it's a myth that you gain weight when you eat right before bed, but it's a myth I believed growing up, and I still have it with me. Anyways, I'm happy it works for you. :)

Same here, in fact that's when I usually eat the most. Right before I go to bed, from 2 to 4 in the morning. Chocolate at night doesn't bother me one bit either.

I'm the exact same. I ate a poutine at 12:00 am and then had some vanilla yogurt right before going to sleep at 2:30 am.

Will be making some chilli after the match. Some good old Naga Jolokia/Scotch bonnet (etc) banter. It will burn.

I know what a poutine is!!! Its a disgusting thing only eaten in Canadia and in their McDonalds, which are actually called McDonalds, as opposed to KFC which is KFP?!?!
