That brings a question to mind.... when sour cream reaches its expiration date, does it "go good"? :pThere's no such thing as bad sour cream, as far as I'm concerned.

By the way, if you're watching your waistline, plain yogurt is a perfect replacement for sour cream -- the calorie and fat differential is insane, and the taste is very close. Much better than "lite" sour cream.

Plain yogurt shouldn't be eaten alone. It's good with fresh fruit, blended up in a smoothie, or as a sour cream replacement.

Well the only time I even touch sour cream is for a potato or a mexican dish, and there's no way I'm putting yogurt on those. Principles alone forbid me from doing that.
