at least according to this link: http://www.iffhs.de/?17f7370eff3702bb1c2bbb6f28f53510f42e00fa2d17f73702fa3016e23c
This ranking system looks even more suspect than the FIFA rankings, but hey, we're on it.

Dude, King Faisal Babies Kumasi (Ghana) got hosed.
They're totally better than #138 in the world.
This ranking blows.

Interesting that Catolica ranks 27th... not that I'm still bitter or anything.

Which is more than the Revs or anybody else in MLS can say, aside from the Galaxians -- and, hey, they ranked us ahead of the reigning MLS champs. Ho, ho, ho. Hmm, the poll sure gives the Mexican Football League a lot of love doesn't it? Oh well, it's baloney but it does say something about the level of respect (close to zero) MLS gets on the international scene.
Which is not to suggest that MLS is on a par with the MFL. Rather, the next step is for MLS to aspire to be on a par with the MFL. Oh, and if MLS teams ever get around to winning or finishing strongly in international competitions MLS as a league will start getting more respect. I guess that you gotta figure out how to crawl before you can walk and you gotta learn how to walk before you can run . . .

I think you should look at the rankings with an eye towards parity.
Leagues dominated by one or two teams seem to get a representative pretty high up the rankings.
It seems that this ranking uses some simple (unelegant) math to generate the rankings.
It also seems that MLS's parity holds it back.

DC United are a better side than Aston Villa hahaha
Arsenal over Chelsea as well. That makes sense.

they're basing it on last year internationals, that's why Siroki Brijeg (equivalent of Gaithersburg FC :D) is on there but Dinamo Zagreb or Hajduk aren't.

That list is a joke. What kind of "fuzzy" math do they use to come up with it. I didn't get past the top 20.

I love this, DCU is better than 4 teams in the Premiership. Man they have industrial strength crack in Germany. Actually, I want to know how DCU fell 8 places in the last month? From 266 to 274, in think the fix is in.

Somehow, I don't think this is a list that we can use as a solid reference.
Of course, Coppell rested most of his Reading squad and beat WBA in the FA Cup, so all Premiership teams are not invincible by any means.

Chelsea's ranking was really hurt by those two minutes that they were losing to the 274th best club in the world.;) :D
