So if you could have Dinner with any 5 Footballers dead or alive who would they be and why ?

1 Sir Matt Busby- bc i am sure he has some great stories about his teams
2 OGS- He's my fav footballer of all time and to spend time with him would just be a honor
3 Cantona - BC who would not want to spend time with the King
4 Keano- would want to find out the real reason why he left UNITED
5Robbie Smackhead Fowler- Would spend about 1.2 seconds pretending that i liked him then i would fly across the table and kick the living ******** out of him:D

Good idea for a thread :)

(in no particular order)

* Cantona - for obvious reasons
* Pele - a hero of mine
* Maradona - I think "Dinner with Diego" has a Hollywood ring to it
* Keane - I have so many questions...
* Beckham - I'd love to hear the details of what it's like to play on the two best teams in history, being a pop star, and the details on his exit from MU

1. Best
2. Charlton
3. Law
4. Busby
5. Edwards

Give them 1 night together as they were in their prime, and just watch them talk/interact and work out differences, talk football, swap stories, etc.

Gazza ( Gascoigne)- Talk about an interesting dinner convo..
Maradona- See above plus you know you're going to eat well with that ex blimp.
Bestie- Hopefully I could shag his leftovers..
Becks- I could pull some wicked ass by association :D
Mourinho- Don't know if he counts but it would get me in range to bash him over the head with a botlle of Port for being such a smug twat..

1. Beckenbauer - he's the kaiser of football, the amalgam of class and intelligence rolled into one
2. Cantona - My first football idol and the reason for supporting United, also an inspiration to my game, I could talk philosphy with him and I could paint with him too.
3. George Best - he can probably hook me up with a couple Miss Worlds
4. Beckham - also one of the players I began supporting United and I actually learned a lot about playing the game by watching him.
5. Del Piero/Zidane - two other players I grew up admiring and that inspired me.

Strange, but true. There was just no room for Fletcher.

I'm stunned that you didn't include the likes of Carragher and Gerrard or Effenberg, Basler, Mattheus, or Klinsman.
