Hasn't he been on "the road to recovery" for something like a year now?

Could someone provide a link to one of the Everton fans sites? I'd like to check it out. Thanks.

I'd be very surprised if a bid was made for Brian. If he was 23 it might be different. Not that we don't appreciate his services at such short notice. He is here purely to cover injuries and suspensions. I don't think we could justify another striker on the payroll when Campbell and Ferguson are paid 30k a week.
However, I may well make a trip up to Columbus this summer to Brian in action (I live in Indianapolis) Any Crew fans willing to meet up?

Good match reports, opinions, nostalgia and a touch of scouse wit.

yeah but he's actually training with the first team again...so I assume he must be a bit further along that road than he was last season

Campbell hasn't been lighting the score sheet up this season. 7 goals is a bit week for this point of the season. Dunc is done and wont be back this season or ever for that matter. Moyes has been after BM since the summer but they wanted more than Everton were willing to pay. Mcbride was upset at the time they didnt let him go to Everton. Mcbride only wanted to play for Everton and in his new contract he signed a clause was put in it to allow Everton to pick him up on loan in January. That is why he signed the extension to the MLS.
People have been saying that he was brought in to cover injuries and suspensions, but Moyes has an alterior motive. I think it was to show the board he can play in the EPL and worth the transfer fee. Campbell might be the one that Mcbride replaces.

You might want to meet up with V-Army who tailgate under a tree in the East parking lot in row V. They are always happy to have people join them before the game.
