An announcement at the Draft?

Does anyone think that having the SuperDraft here in Philly is a good sign that maybe something regarding our team will be announced on Friday? I mean, just because there isn't much activity in the news as far as investors go, doesn't mean its not happening behind the scenes.

For the past few years the MLS SuperDraft has been held at the same time as the NSCAA convention which probably planned a year in advance. This years convention is in Philly and therefore the SuperDraft is in Philly.

While here maybe someone somewhere working behind the scenes to get Philly a team, I seriously doubt they are anywhere close enough to make an announcement on Friday. Garber isn't even saying anything about Philly, and he holds on to old expantion cities for years. I think he mentioned Oklahoma the last time I heard him talk about expantion and I thought that was dead in the water years ago.

All that being said, if something is announced with regards to Philly getting a team this weekend, I would be happy for both MLS and Philly.
