Alright! Tape delayed soccer with commercial interruptions.

But who wants to watch those Dallas Burn wannabes?
I guess the question that comes to mind is, does this help the MLS or not (clearly, it is not the intent of Man Yoo or YankeeNets to help develop the game in the US)?
If a casual sports fan stumbles on to a Premiership match and ends up liking it, would the casual sports fan say:
"Hey, this soccer thing isn't so bad. Maybe I'll watch my local team this summer"
or "Hey, this soccer thing isn't so bad. As long as it's played by world-class stars and not American hacks"?

Yeah, every Wednesday. YES will have to wait at least 42 hours. They'll probably show the games Monday nights.

All biases aside, the more soccer on TV in this country, the better off we (soccer fans) all are IMO.

So many Yankee fans age 50+ will not be pleased by soccer on YES. This will certainly p*ss them off by showing them that soccer is part of the sports landscape. The net effect will be less soccer hatred.

I saw the one game YES did back at the beginning of the season (or was it the end of last season?). The commercial breaks made it unwatchable.
