Bolton-OM: One month and counting…
On February 15, OM will travel to Bolton for the UEFA Cup Round-of-32. With just a month until that first leg, here are the first infos.

Draw against Backburn
On Saturday afternoon, Bolton visited Blackburn. The Wanderers managed to hang on for a 0-0 draw despite the 33rd-minute sending off of Hidetoshi Nakata. Sam Allardyce’s side now find themselves in seventh place, but have two matches in hand.
The starting XI v Blackburn: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Gardner, Nolan, N'Gotty, Ben Haim, Stelios (Vaz Te 62), Nakata, Davies, Borgetti (Campo 36), Fadiga (Jansen 77).

The trip to England
Last Thursday and Friday a Marseille delegation, consisting Louis Vassalucci (sporting coordinator), Guy Cazadamont (director of security and organisation) and Christophe Villeneuve (travel agent), were in England to organise the trip for the team and its supporters next February. At least 350 Marseille fans will be cheering on OM. One flight and several coaches have been pencilled in.

Two recruits
Following the departures of Okocha and Djetou, Bolton have already signed two new faces this winter: the ‘keeper Ali Al Habsi and more importantly, the former Blackburn striker Matt Jansen. The latter, just 24 hours after signing his contract, made his debut off the subs bench on Saturday.

Under surveillance
At the start of January, several of Bolton’s staff was in attendance for the draw against Lens and the following day they visited the facilities at the Vélodrome. This Sunday another emissary from the English club will be present.

Both legs on M6
The first and second legs will both be shown live on M6 at 20:45 (the first match will kick off in England at 19:45, local time).
