Orkut is a friends network site that is a big success among Brazilians. I am registered there, and so are others I know here. Send me a Private Message if you want to know my profile. ;)

im on orkut too. i use it to keep in touch with all the family and friends back in brazil...
i think it's funny how orkut is now dominated by brazilians. it's amazing. this started as an invite only thing by google in the USA...and somehow, orkut is now like 70% brazilian.
one funny anecdote...my cousin lost her bag at UFSC (university in florianopolis)...some dude found her bag and looked her up on orkut and found her. haha. returned the bag.

Haha, if that happened here I seriously doubt the guy would return it. That is an amazing store though nonetheless. That guy has a good heart.

yeah true. man, you would be surprised the things people will do for you in other countries. another story...i was in spring break in paris like 2 years ago. my buddy wanted to go back to college early from the trip so he changed his flight and left 2 days earlier. on the way to the airport on the subway, he left his backpack with his passport, all his schoolwork, gameboy, etc while changing trains. he couldnt leave and showed up at the place we were staying at like 3am. so, the next day we go looking for his backpack all throughout paris. he had given up hope and went to the US embassy the day we were all leaving where he would probably have to stay in paris for a few extra days. while waiting in the huge line for lost passports, someone comes up to him and asks if his name was andy. So, someone actually found his backpack in paris, went to the US embassy and left it there and didnt take a thing. wow. people here in the US sometimes need to learn a thing or two about this. haha.

Call me a pesimist, but it'll never happen. Another thing to stay away from is the "fake" security guards at the Rio airport. My dad made a dumb move and tried to exchange dollars for reais. Bad Move. The guy said that 20 dollars was missing from the money my dad gave him. So basically the man became 20 dollars richer even though my mom chewed him out and tried to make him feel guilty.

You need to edit the link again..lol. The link you provided takes us to your "home page" which redirect us to our home page since we aren't allowed to access your home page. You need to send the Profile link which has something like "profile=random numbers here" in it.:)
