Where can I go to check out new music on the internet? I'm particularly interested in Indie artists.
There are a couple of good shows on the local college station and a good podcast on iTunes "Dallas does Indy," but that's all I know so far.
Any favorite websites, podcasts, internet radio shows you'd like to share?

Some old and new bands, but I found out a bout quite a few cool bands I didn't know about.
Particular favorites are Phoenix, 22-20's and Athlete

i got this thing called audioscrobbler. you can get it at www.last.fm. it's a plug-in for your music player and it takes what you play and gives you similar artists. it's pretty cool and there's like 40 something people on here that have it.
another good thing is just look at the random thoughts about music thread. they have a lot of good artists in there.

I'm not so sure about Indie artists or tunes - the extent of my knowledge goes to Stereolab and the group that did "Brimful of Asha" about 8 years ago! But I do know another site that seemingly has an inside track and what's new around Europe... whether it's electronica, soul, rap, R&B, nu-jazz, Italian soundtracks, bossa, Brazilian music.... you name it. So maybe they have some Indy artists as well.

I have no idea how I got on their mailing list - probably because of an order from Schema records abotu a year or so ago. But I'm glad I am! They send me a few emails every couple of weeks with a list of what they've got in stock, back-stock or are in order. The only downside is that the site is in Italian.
Another site I use to pick up hard to find deep-house or just some solid trance works is juno.co.uk. SOme of em' are at around 10 US each but they've got a pretty big selection too and I know they go into Indie tunes. Tunes.co.uk seems to have a pretty big jump on DJ mixes and stuff like that but I'd given them a shot too.

I really dig these Podcasts (which I have in iTunes - I'm not sure what the full URLs are):
Free Radio Sub Pop, Industrial Radio, Percussion Lab Presents, Ritmo Latino, Spacemusic hosted by *TC*, and Starfrosh Podcast Breaks DrumBass.
You can get them all for free.

I find a lot of new music through www.woxy.com
Great if you're looking for alt-rock and if you have a current fave, email them and they'll play it.
They also have a message board similar to this one where listeners also share their current faves and talk about new bands as well.
They also have a vintage channel you can listen to if you want to hear some older stuff from time to time.
I also listen to XMU on satellite radio -- a lot!!

That's a good suggestion. You can also check out Elbows (http://elbo.ws/), which is another mp3 blog aggregator.

I also agree that KEXP is a good place to go. John Richards' show in the mornings is my favorite, probably because he reflects my musical tastes pretty closely.
