I'm talking about Auburn from 2 years back. They would have been much much better in the championship than Oleklhoma.

Also, you DID lose, it doens't matter who to or why, you LOST in the CHAMPIONSHIP, end of.

I understand wanting rivals to lose. I hate LSU and UM and enjoyed watching LSU turn to shite. However, you are for some reason (and thats why I am posted this, its no problem you can do it if you want to, it just seems like a cop out to me) you are comparing your relative success in football to basketball against UCLA. It has nothing to do with the football team, it's about the, soon to be, national championship basketball team.

Hold on. Are you saying Georgetown is the only power school from the 80's that is relevant now, or not? Your wording is confusing.
I'm saying almost all the 80's power-schools have returned save for St. John's.

we have quite the waterpolo and volleyball program thank you very much.

and our basketball team did beat yours this year...:o

Grrr... as much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad you did.

God, it feels like I just took a hacksaw to my throat, writing that. But having a wholly untalented and overmatched USC team slice us apart did motivate us to completely and fully embrace Ben's defensive philosophy and we have been better for it, not looking back and not losing since then.

One more thing, and I think I might have mentioned this before: If we win the title tonight will USC, as per their custom, try to claim a piece of it? Do they already have the AP lined up to vote them in for an illegitimate share of the championship?

well if i was drunk i would come and say the true champions were usc but i am not. Basketball is not there forte. Except for the night we beat UCLA and North Carolina :D

Florida passes the ball so well. That's been the difference and the reason they're going to be raising that banner. Noah has also been great on D.

Well needless to say I'm gutted, but less so than I thought I would be, simply because Florida thoroughly proved tonight who the better team is. Since we lost to a better team, I have no problems with that.

Congrats to the Gators, but let's get real: they are just keeping the title warm until we make our run next year (We jumped the shark a bit this season, we weren't supposed to be contenders until next season).

By the way, I was just wondering, is "Noah" French for "Aboya just posterized me with his balls in my face"? Anyone who saw that freakish alley-oop knows what I'm talking about. Aboya really has tremendous hops. Tyrus who???
