I'm the assistant soccer coach at a college in Indy and they've been practicing at our school the past couple of days. They flew in wednesday night and came straight to the gym for practice with a full police escort and everything.

Ok, major suprise, I'm predicting UF over George Mason. If I didn't love UF, I'd have to pull for Cinderella. But it looks like tonight the wicked stepsister is going to the dance -- sorry GMU.

In penance, I'll be rooting for LSU over UCLA. Which is actually hard for me, as hating LSU was a way of life for me for many years living in New Orleans. But I'm thinking a gulf coast final would be sweeet.

Get used to this--we weren't even supposed to get past the Sweet Sixteen this year...next year was supposed to be the Final Four run.

You do realize we had 55 points with 10 minutes left, we just chose to take the foot off the gas as soon as the game was out of reach. We could have easily put up 75 if we had wanted to embarrass LSU (which, in all honesty, I would have liked considering all the pre-game shit talk they were saying. But then Big Ben and Co. are far classier and calmer than I am.)

and USC coudl have racked up a few more touchdowns during that game. but the bottom line is that we score more in football then you do in basketball :D

If you knew that it doesn't matter then you wouldn't be talking so much smack for a team that in basketball wasn't even in the tournament the past 2 years. You talk about the greatness of USC with all their great players, and yet they couldn't beat (according to you guys) one player... why not? Coincidence? You could do it the year before against a team that didn't deserve to even be in the game, but you couldn't this season against the true champions?

Who else would you have put in that game? Nobody would have been able to beat us that year, our defence was just as amazing as our offence.

if you knew the rivalry between usc and ucla you would know that it does matter. if either of the two beat the other in field hockey its concidered a moral victory. So of course I want UCLA to loose. Every banner they get to raise in the Pavillion is a dagger in the heart. So it really has nothing to do with USC not being in the tournement because i never said once that USC is a better team.

and yes we lost to Vince Young. Clearly we deserved to be there as well look at the rest of the season. We came back in South Bend, at Oregon, at Arizona State and thats just to name a few. We Blew out UCLA (incase you forgot). If Vince Young wasnt enough we ********ed our self over. No capitalizing on the turnovers, making our own stupid mistakes and letting Vince Young run as much as he did. If im not mistaken they had more rushing yards then passing yards. And Vince young ran for 200 out of 280. There running back ran for 40 yards!. Vince Young did us in, nobody else. Put anyone else in Vince Young's shoes and you have a new national champion.
