It's shocking, although GM have looked strong throughout the tournament. Too bad I doubt I've ever seen them play before in my life. Luckily, I'll be seeing Florida trounce them next weekend on our way to the final. :D
So, coming into yesterday, I had picked 6 of the elite 8 correctly. I was feeling mighty smug. Now, I'm 0 for 3. Oh well, all's I need is a Florida win, and I'm cool.
Is Noah awesome or what?? I love that kid.

I'm 0/4 on my Final Four picks. I've never had a worse bracket in my life. :(
Oh well, go Gators!!! :D

A Gators win would all but lock up a $500 prize from my office bracket.

Hey Saph... Got a relatively cool Gators story...
I don't know if you remember Orien Greene (might be Green) a shooting guard/small forward from a few years ago with the Gators (not a consistant starter iirc) , but he went to Gainsville High while I was there and I was in a couple of classes with him. Played against/alongside in gym and pick up. Well, long story long, I once blocked his shot in a pickup game and now he's in the NBA, even though he's a scrub for the Celtics.
I know I know... completely off topic. But I don't care... Go Gators!!

Any opinions on IU hiring Sampson?

Meh...
The only power school from the 80's that's relevant is Georgetown. "Nova came back, Syracuse returned to the top, UNC, UCONN, DUKE, of course, just waiting on St. John's, NC State to be relevant again.
if Donovan takes Florida back to the Final Four next season, with or without Joakim Noah, he should be paid Spurrier money.
IU should not have sacked Knight in the first place.

Hold on. Are you saying Georgetown is the only power school from the 80's that is relevant now, or not? Your wording is confusing.
