All my teams won tonight (although technically I can't count LSU). I was freaking out about Texas, as I have them in the final game. I feel so sorry for those Gonzaga guys too; that one kid was all out crying.

I hope my Florida boys are ready for tomorrow -- they're the only ones I really love anyway. C'mon gators.

(1) Yay Longhorns, fight fight fight! Weak guard play still dooms us, but good game.

(2) I picked LSU over Duke. Go me. I actually pull for Duke when they're not playing Texas or BC-but if Reddick had a cold game against a team with a pulse, that team was always going down.

(3) I really don't like Gonzaga at all. Nothing personal-just get sick at how much hype and so many bandwagon fans-yet they always underachieve in the tournament. I was rooting for them hard the first time around-now I want them to crawl under a rock...but...

...I felt really bad for Adam Morrison. That kid's a great player. I felt guilty for rooting for UCLA once I saw him break down. Maybe he'll come back for his senior year, though, now.

It's really hard to articulate what to say, even this morning. The only word that comes to mind is disappointed. Despite the expectations I had for this team, and I have them every year, they really did over-achieve throughout the year with simply two of the great players in college basketball. I always knew if one of those two didn't show up, then we were going to be in trouble. At the end of the day, J.J. had one of the worst shooting nights of his career, and that cost us the game. I never imagined that one of the best shooters ever would end up being the reason we go out of the tournament, but that's life I suppose. :(

That game last night has made my entire year. Someone could drop a piano from an eight-story building on top of my car in front of me and tell me that they'd have to amputate my leg, and I still would be happy after last night.
