Hey Man Utd fans,
I've not come to gloat about our victory today but I just wanted to post that this is the beauty of derby games - it doesn't matter about recent form or anything, it all comes down to the game and anything can happen. Man Utd were favourites to win but Man City managed to win and that is the beauty of football because anything can happen and even the favourites aren't guaranteed to win all of the time and it makes football great. Man Utd is a great side with a lot of history and Man City is also a great team, and its the passion and atmosphere that makes the game and football so special.
See you all next season!

Cheers. Nice to see a City fan be a gracious winner.
All, keep this thread relatively clean if you can, and save the jabs for the one I moved to England Rivalries.

I see derby matches as exciting opportunities for fans and players to show their passion and if you ever go to a match, the atmosphere is just unbelieveable. Losing is all part of the rivalry, because next time around the losing team and fans will be even more determined to beat them. Keep the thread clean

I like the way you feel you have to reiterate that even after our beloved mod has said it...Makes me think you're expecting some sort of barrage

Bloody hell, I try posting a decent post about the match and some Man Utd have to be tossers about it
Twat.
Your the twat around here m8 cos you can't accept the better team won on the day. Shows how you don't have to spend millions and millions every year to beat big teams.

I only said it cos some Man Utd fans who are twats would come out with something since im a City fan.
Let the result speak for itself

It doesn't matter what the context of the game is...both teams could be midtable with nothing to play for - neither the title nor a European spot - and it would still be a "massive" occasion. (mind you, we haven't been midtable like Citeh have for more than a decade).
Derby games are great, although I think Trevor Sinclair really was exaggerating a bit - makes him sound like he has erectile dysfunction or something.

Sorry mate, but Silvestre giving you two goals on the break (one of which was offside) and then you sneaking another at the death does not constitute being the 'better team'.

Exactly, Silvestre messed up and he is part of your team. Did any of our players have a bad game? No, didn't think so...

But we were the better team, chuck.
You're just bitter.
I see you're from Scotland too. How surprising. :p
