Biggest game of the year. Easily. We can go two points ahead with a win in this match.

Just 1 point behind the scum, and with 2 games in hand.I think well get something from this match, and maybe a win it if gerrard and Alonso play at the level we know they can play. The match at anfield was a very tight afair this season, and they were only saved by an excelent performance by Roy keane. But theres going to be no roy keane this time around, and maybe well now be able to have more control over the middle of the park, and hopefully control the match. We have a good chance of winning this one,but it will only happen if we play at our best.

I hate ronaldo, I'm glad he got a red today, but I must admit I would've liked to see him play so Carra can put his boot right up that cvnt's a$$!!!!! I also would love for shrek to get pummelled and for Stevie to step on him. I'd love to see Crouchy and Pongo get a few past van de sar while kicking rio ferdinand in the ribs... Sorry Im so violent, but I just absolutely cannot stand these people!!!!!!!
The REAL REDS are going to Old Trafford, to put on a clinic!!!

Is Smith injured too? I thought I read someone on the Scum board say that Smith couldn't play, and they might have to bring in a player or two that isn't fully recovered from injury.
And we all know how well it works to push a player back into the starting lineup, like Real Madrid-Barca this season :D
A win could be huge in more than just points. The club will go into more internal crisis, and would perform even worse for the rest of the season.
A draw would be nice too though. But given the situation of both clubs right now, we have a good chance to win at Trafford Ballpark.

So no Smith, Ronaldo, Scholes... ?
Let's hope we can hold some good numbers in possession and render RVN/Rooney powerless.
This could be the first time in a long time we give them a good pasting [too bad it isnt at Anfield].
Come on you Reds!

:D They may well have. I'm a bit surprised Fergie bought a left-back. I thought they needed a central midfield player. Did somebody mention bung?

Chrissie, looking quite sweet in her capris, takes her gucci handbag and leaves. http://www.ohlalaparis.com/photos/uncategorized/cristiano_ronaldo_gucci.jpg Ruud, knowing of her jealous nature, awaits to be sure of her departure before meeting the real love of his life..............

Little realizing that Chrissie had plans of her own. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d62/unnamable_1978/rooneyronaldo0wz.jpg

Manchester United get to fatigue themselves on Wednesday in an FA Cup replay.
Wait, doesn't this mean that Ronaldo's and Smith's suspensions will be served by that match?

We should be able to take control of the game through the center of midfield. Even when fully fit, the Scum's central midfield is crap. Our's is nothing short of world class. The only way they can beat us is if Roonaldo or Van Horse Face create a goal or two out of nothing.
Biggest game of the season so far.

No, suspensions earned during EPL matches only affect the EPL. They are eligible for the FA Cup game but will miss the next EPL match.

guarded optimism, I'd say. They will be smarting at the loss to Citeh and look to bounce back.. with a vengeance; other than the Manc derby this match has got to put fire in their veins. Although it looked like some didn't care for it yesterday for some of the foreign players a match against us, tscum and arse might be bigger and they will be up for it.
still, if we play to our strengths.. here's to a good thumping win. ;)

And Scholes rumoured to be suffering from partial blindness due to concussion? :D
I predict Sissoko to halt all their midfield advances and score a goal himself.

I fail to see how they have gotten to their position in the table. They have a crap back-line and midfield; the only thing keeping them in the hunt is their forwards.

Indeed the most important game of the season....
Manchester looked really weak in their derby and their defense is obviously exploitable. SAF might start his new centreback signing, Vidic, the Serbian, who is tall, strong and a big presence in the middle of that defense. We certainly need Crouch to win those headers for us.
We can win this one but it won't be easy, this season's Manchester can play their best when you least expect it and after a terrible last game performance. Rooney will need to be controlled, he'll be all over the place since no one else is really doing that for them, that is the main threat. We don't have to worry about Ruud, he doesn't do much when he doesn't have the ball.

True this game will be a hell of a match. The problm with manchester united is that they have a quality strike force and a solid keeper, and a poor midfield and defense just look at fletcher kissing RVN and Browns unkept hair.
For liverpool we may not have the best of strikers, midfielders and defenders but our distribution of quality around the pitch is well carried out by rafa and paco.
They always play well against strong opponents and can be a pain in the ass to watch.
Arsenal gave a serious 7-0 drubbing, and we should not worry about them because their season performance has been below par ours has been consistent.Lets win this big games and get second position atleast.
