Bruce has said there will be cuts to the roster for the canada game. With 28-30 players, thats 6-8 cuts. They are carrying 4 keepers, so thats easy, 2 keepers and between 4-6 field players.
So,
Keeper
Keeper
Boswell
Zavagnin
Ugo
Mapp (not yet in game shape maybe)
Freddy
I dont know the exact numbers of how many are in camp (is wells in camp? mapp in camp? etc. . . ) and how many bruce can name to the roster for canada

I think Zavagnin will stay , because I think he is a pretty good midfielder, and he needs to impress this camp. As for the others , Mapp might be gone because of his injuries and Boswell i dont see making an impression . Freddy...... who knows.

Based on what I've seen at practice I don't see Freddy getting cut for the first friendly. I also don't think we are going to see many defensive guys get cut.

These cuts are just for the SD friendly and don't affect camp, right?

Bobby Boswell won't be cut. He's the only American we know of at the moment that can score on Peter Cech. He's a world beater! :D

Crap, I forgot to mention that Ching should get cut, and he will get cut.

McBride scored against Cech about a month ago ... cant wait til next summer :D

does getting cut the 1st match for canada mean you leave the camp and don't get to play against norway, south korea, or japan...
I would hope the closed door scrimmage against the koreans would offer some playing time to the bottom feeders....

I think so also, he's good in the air , but so are twellman and ching , although I'd take jaqua over ching..

I agree - if for no other reason than this has quickly bocome a thin spot in the roster. Beyond that, I think his performance has been pretty variant. I bet Bruce will take this opportunity to get yet another look - try and figure out what he can count on.
