I used to have an Atlantic Rhythm and Blues compilation that was awesome, there were a bunch of great Wilson Pickett songs on that. Odd that i'm actually mourning the loss of my CDs right now, i can really be a self centered bastard sometime.
Man, I think you need a rum and coke made the old fashioned way!:D

LOL, yeah i'm a little salty today. I went out last night with this girl i've been seeing and her friends. We were having a great time til about 1am, she disappeared on me, and it ended up that she was crying and puking in the bathroom. I made a brief attempt to calm her down then turned over baby sitting duties to her friends. Sorry, but i'm just too old for that crap. :D

Are the hillbillys on the other side of the island real, or are they just made of evil bong smoke? ;)

Phishy, I've just finished last night's Lost. What did you want to ask me?
1) why is michael so maniacal regarding the rescue of his son?
2) why doesnt he mention that the computer is talking to him?
3) why are the people who live on the island so defiant and want to cause harm to victims of a crashed plane?
4) the black smoke that adibisi confronted?? wtf is that?
EDIT: okay, how come the junkie from lord of the rings doesnt mention the smoke to anyone else on the island?? i think that would be the first thing id mention to the rest of the gang..
oh ya, also, how did adibisi get on the island if he wasnt on the plane with his brother.

1) The writers are out of ideas and its a cheap way to increase the drama.
2) See first half of answer 1
3) See answer one
4) Its "Evil"

1.) Based on what we know about Michael and his relationship with Walt, I think what we're supposed to go on is that he nearly lost his son once, and is hellbent to make sure it doesn't happen again. Remember that he was supposed to marry Walt's mother, but she chose to move to Europe instead. She met someone there, and Michael was forced to give up custody of Walt when she decided to marry this other guy. It was when she died that the stepdad called Michael and asked him to come to Australia to re-claim custody of Walt.
2.) He doesn't mention having communicated with Walt via the computer, because the training film specifically mentions that using the computer for anything other than entering the code is strictly forbidden. To do so would bring about another "incident." What that incident was, we have no idea yet.
3.) The people who live on the island are one of the central mysteries of the show. We really don't know that much about them other than what that French chick told us last year - that they took her baby. We know that they also took all the kids, as well as several adults from the "tailies", or the tail-section survivors.
4.) I have no idea. If there was any jump the shark moment on this show, that was it.

I'm sure the mysteries of the islanders and the computers and the evil bong smoke will be cleared up in the next few seasons. I'm looking foward to futue episodes of the castaways being attacked by a giant crab and cooking it in a hot spring, finding that Captain Nemo lives under the island, being visited by Russian Cosmonauts and the Harlem Globetrotters, etc...

i seriously wanted to punch Jack in the face for not asking Zeke, "if you don't want us to be here then why did you destroy the boat?" and why didn't he say things like "we didn't choose to be here" "we just want to go home" etc.

I love wikipedia. You can find out about anything. There was this one article...it may have been on a site similar to wikipedia...anyway, there was a whole article on how to fake your own death. Isn't that weird? Funny though. Now that's what I call complete coverage.
