Definitely the hottest actress going right now, gents.
not gonna say she's not good lookin, cuz she suuuure is.
But there's an awful lotta make up in those pics and did anyone think she was hot in Ghost World, for example? Cute sure, but hot?
I'm thinking everyone here's catching a bit of it-girlitis.
Hottest actress is still: ALBA. Anytime, anywhere, any amount of personal stylists.

I agree that it's a b1tch to put together, but I transport a couch 100 miles in an Integra hatchback and carried it up 3 flights of stairs by myself, so god bless 'em.
I hear ya. Or a table and 4 matching chairs in a MINI Cooper. I still can't believe that one.

ok, so some help here people. I'm leaving in a 8 days and I don't know if there is anything else I need to do. I booked my ticket online at ba.com. Do I need to give them my passport number or anything? I think I'm just supposed to print out my email I got and bring it to the check in counter with my passport. not really sure how it works. I've been overseas twice, but both were with my school so I didn't have to do anything besides show up.

It is pretty much the same as travel anywhere. Just print out the ticket/receipt you got from BA and of course bring it and your passport to the airport. The agent will check you in and check your passport. That's all there is too it. Here are some other tips though:
1. Have copies made of all your important documents (birth certificate, passport, DL, SS card, etc.) and leave them with someone in the states. That way you can have them sent if you need them (i.e. lose your stuff).
2. Copy down your credit card numbers and the phone numbers for the cards in case you lose your wallet.
3. Convert some cash to get you around the first day, but there are better exchange rates away from the airports.

i'm leaving photocopies of important stuff with my parents. they are also getting Rick's mobile # and address.
I think I'm only bringing one credit card. I don't remember the PIN number to withdraw money on it, so it'll just be for credit card purchases.
I'm planning on getting Amex travelers check's for money. I did that the last two times I went to Europe and it worked fine. I changed over a little in Chicago at the airport so I had some cash to use right when I arrived.

I would suggest taking two credit cards. You never know if one may crap out, not take, get left at a bar, etc. Always best to have a backup IMO.

Well, just back from the DMV. Went really quick, but I did have a guy that reeked of booze and pot sit down next to me, even though there was an entire row of empty seats.

Bring whatever card you booked anything with with you, made a big mistake of not doing this one time and had a to rebook a eurostar train trip to paris on the spot for twice the money. You'll need it for your BA tickets as well.
Also.. the best way to go is to just withdraw money from ATM's, take out the max amount you can every time to avoid redundant service charges (most banks let you take out $300 US when you're abroad a day? about £170 at the moment). It will be cheaper than travellers checks or exchanging money. Also you -should- call your bank, or credit card companies on any of the cards you're using and tell them you're travelling abroad, otherwise they might turn them off thinking they were stolen.
You don't really need to bother with exchanging money beforehand, as you'll just get raped. Their are plenty of visible ATM's in Heathrow and you can buy your tube ticket into town with a card.
