Right on! That is a great weekend quick sammich.
You know it! Made eight of those bastards on Sunday night for the entire week. However, almost the entire office is taking a late lunch on Friday, and we're all going out for sushi. I've never had sushi, and I don't think I'll waste my money on an entire order, but I do plan on tasting some of what's on offer. The reason we're taking a late lunch is so that we get some drinking in. I'm totally planning on having a "Purple Haze", which is warm sake and Chambord. Very nice.

I've never had sushi, and I don't think I'll waste my money on an entire order, but I do plan on tasting some of what's on offer.
Definitely just try stuff the first time. I'm not a fan of it and tried a bunch of different kinds. Not really bothered by it beign raw, it was the texture that got to me. To soft and fleshy for my tastes. I do like a good tempura or teriaki though!

Never had sushi, huh? Its not that bad, but i don't like it really. The chicks love it though, they think that they can eat a ton of sushi and it won't make them fat. It's kinda funny watching girls pig out on that stuff.

I like teriaki and tempura, so I'm set, but the place we're going is known for their sushi, so the expectation is that we'll all be having some. I'm not the only one who's never had it before, so at least I won't be singled out.

I'm doing my best to like sushi but alas have yet to grow a taste for it.

California Roll is like beginners sushi, mostly rice with some cooked crab and veggies i think. Not to bad, but i wouldn't go out of my way for it. Like alot of Japanese food, it ends up just tasting like soy sauce.

It is usually faux crab meat and avocado rolled up in seaweed and rice. Nothing too special and if the girls are all a-twitter about those, they don't know much about sushi either.
