Well, got some crappy news today. I have a Torn ACL and will be out for 4-5 months.

I feel your pain. Knee injuries suck. :(

As a veteran of Anterior and Interior Cruciate Ligament surgery I feel your pain....but chicks dig scars.;)

That sucks majorly TUSA. Are you going to have surgery?
Yea, February 24th. My surgeon broke his thumbs skiing and that is when he will be able to perform surgery. He is one of the best in the country so it is worth the wait.

Well, maybe I'm lucky after all. Partially tore mine way back when, but didn't need surgery. Of course, my knees are more or less shot now despite my relative youth.

Sorry to hear about the injury. We chicks may dig scars, but only if they have wonderful stories behind them.

Football on the beach, great. It makes it sound like you're really athletic and chicks dig that. The bus thing? No.

Timeout.

I know this was discussed before...but are you the first female Mag on the board?

I think I am. There was a lot of surprise that I'm a chick, so I'm guessing I'm the first (and only).

I am a football player. I play for Northwood. I am the QB and this is going to be my senior season. I hurt it playing soccer though. I hadn't played soccer since 5th grade, but I wanted to have a little fun before High School was over. Yea, everyone said don't play soccer what if you get hurt. Well, I've got to shoot to be ready to go for passing league in July. It will be August t the latest though, and I would rather tear it now and have recovery and be able to play next year rather than hurt it at football or later down the road.

I do tend to keep the bus story to myself.

Newcastle is an unglamourous club, we don't have a Beckham or Lampard for the women to swoon over and we never win anything and "they" normally go for the successful clubs because you've heard of them.

I remember when I first started to going to the football and there were no female fans and when the first female police officer was at our end, she had shouts of "get yer tits ooot" for the whole match. it was a different era.

I honestly don't quite understand the bus story.

Ok, let me begin.

On buses where I live the seats don't have padding on the whole thing, there is padding on the bum and the back but inbetween these there is a gap, just wide enough to fit your feet between. To get your feet here you need to put your knees up. When you do this, if your me, you bounce your feet because your bored and when I was doing this my ligament just gave up and snapped.

Lampard is chubby. You've got Parker and Owen, a great stadium, a great fanbase, and when the team finally wins something, it'll be a great story.

Now I understand. I would make up a better story than that to tell girls though, something involving skiing and international espionage.
