Johnny Cash is awesome. His voice can be rather somber but to me that's what makes his music so great.

Colts-Steelers game was indeed a series of strange sequences. My brother and I were cracking up at the events cuz Murphy's law was in effect.

Sinclair is a blimey bastard!!!

What's life like in Oregon tonight dave?

Same as any night in any part of Oregon sans Portland. Boring as hell. Of course I live in a town with population 15k, so that's even worse. :o

Not Madonna, I hope? :D I don't dance, so dancing music holds no appeal to me. I grew up right between the end of the experimental generation with the likes of Beck, Fiona Apple, Radiohead, etc. and teenie-bop mania with Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, NSync, etc. There was also some gangsta rap and grunge rock in there at points. My mind is still ********ed up.

What exactly were the generations of music in England in terms of genre and years?

Yes it is, but only because it moves too fast. Figure out a way to slow it down.

You poor fellow

I had that ESPN claymation Bills commercial running in my head during that sequence. The one that says 'Without sports, we'd stop believing'.

Just getting a post in here. Anyone ever had a player from an opposing team try to fight them after the game? Some fat goalie found me getting on the bus after the game and wanted to fight. I mean who does that?

I had a hockey teammate try to go Bowyer-Dyer on me once. Does that count? :D

I've wanted to go Bowyer/Dyer on some of my teammates who took intramural sports way too seriously.

Yep.

You still need to slow the avatar down some.

Go Hornets! We've equaled our win total from last season. Anyone else like the NBA?

Hornets? Would that have something to do with them drafting Chris Paul?

I've been a Lakers fan since they drafted Kobe. I will continue to be a Lakers fan as long as they have Kobe, but after he retires or whatever may happen, then I might find a new team.

No, but that was a plus. I've been a Hornets fan since they had Alonzo Mourning, Larry Johnson, and Muggsy Bogues (fellow Wake alum). This was back in like 93. I guess as a kid I liked their logo.

But I've supported them ever since...even after they moved away from Charlotte :(

I vaguely remember the triple-threat Charlotte had in the early nineties. If I'm not mistaken, Zo went to Miami, LJ to NYC, and everyone finally figured out Mugsy was short, so they just started beating the living daylights out of him.

You think Paul is going to win Rookie of the Year for them?

They didn't draft Kobe. The Hornets drafted Kobe then shipped him to the Lakers. I want to say he went Eli Manning and refused to play for them, but I don't remember if that bit's accurate or not.

Essentially, they did draft him. Charlotte took him with the 13th pick, and within the hour sent him to LA for Vlade Divac.

Barring any further injuries, CP3's a lock for ROY. His numbers are just plain better than any other rookies. I think Atlanta and Utah are kicking themselves for not drafting Paul (although Deron Williams is doing pretty well for the Jazz).

I was mad LJ went to NYC, and peeved Zo went to Miami (although we got Glen Rice for him...my favorite NBA player of all time). And basically, Muggsy got old (in age).

All work and no play makes Graeme a dull boy.

Yeah, even as a Duke fan I've got to give props to Paul. He's the real deal.

Glen Rice is your favorite NBA player?
