£50K? You would think most Americans are worh £50.

I know but I like watching young players develop and I might go into the editor and change his nationality to Luxemburger instead.

That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me. *wipes tear from eye*

You were right about Artic Monkeys Graeme. They're not bad. Not my usual cup of tea but Still Take You Home is very catchy.

To the rest of you ugly sods: How have you been (Souness aside)?

Special hellos to jaypro, BayernWake and nicodemus! What's up Lillywhite? How's the best club in London not owned by a Russian doing?

Northwood? You guys kicked my alma mater's ass in CIF quarterfinals (Western High, home of Tiger Woods!). I was at that game with my bro cuz we needed to do something before going out drinking and he had the bright idea to watch our alma mater in playoff action. We played terrible and with weird formations. Were you the starting QB? I think you had a good performance.

Yea, Western was in a down year. You guys have some big boys but man were they out of shape. :D You guys run that Double Wing that is hard to stop, but our Defensive Coordinator is a genius who has been coaching High School Football for 30 years.

No, I wasn't the QB due to politics. The other QB was a senior and at out school the seniors tend to get more leniancy. He performed like crap most of the year and was pulled in favor of me many times. I performed well all the times I was called upon, (especially in the CIF Championship game) but our coach is a believer in letting seniors play over juniors so I got the shaft. Parents wrote e-mails and made calls because they knew our best chance of winning was to have me in. Sure, it sounds arrogant but it was true. If we didn't play in a soft league we would have had 2 or 3 losses. However, Western's defense was atrocious and it made him look like a god. Ok, that year is over and now I get to look forward to getting in a Shot Gun formation and throwing the ball 30-40 times a game.

You see he would always run so we just put it in the game plan and it worked. He couldn't throw the ball to save his life. Now, I being more of a thrower than runner get to sit back and let fly. Pretty good considering I already hold the school record for pass attempts in a game. ;)

Hey Jaypro (et al). Do you support an MLS team? I got into it last season when New England drafted two Wake Forest players. I desperately tried to be a Revs fan, but I just couldn't do it. Originally I liked DC United, and they are the closest team to me...plus they just drafted another Wake player...so I might try supporting them again. I think the key is going to a game, that'll get me more interested.

I've been a Los Angeles Galaxy supporter since the league's inception in 1996. Going to a game is probably the primary key to get really into it.

I don't support any MLS team in particular. I casually followed L.A. when I lived in the area, and watched a MLS game now and then, but that's about it.

Yeah Bayern I've supported DC United since '96 cause I'm from that area. I've never been to a game though.

If you want to go this route, then America and all capitalist countries are evil because capitalism contains the natural tendency to develop monopolies, like Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart isn't the problem, capitalism is the problem.
