Hey - its the off-season . . . thought this might be fun . . .

Anyway, in late December on Route 28 I saw a Virginia plate that said "DCUFAM". I waved a folder with a DCU logo out my window. Got the thumbs up from DCUFAM :)

Today I saw a Virginia plate on route 110 that said "SCCR NXS" . . . an SE pick-up game participant, perhaps?

Until December 3rd or so you could see my car travelling the country. MLS DCU.

Now you have to content yourself with my DCU sticker and assorted apparel.

I commute to work on my bike, and I've outgrown this:

but I do have this:

Does that count?

While I do not have any DC United related license plate (I'll wait for the DC United vanity plates), I do have a DC United united squirrel uniform [with the old logo-see Eric's post above] hanging from the rear view mirror of both cars (labeled as such by one of my daughter's teammates in a team I coach) and DC United battle flags on game days.

License plate says 4DCUNTD
I have a DCU window cling on the sides of my car and on the back I have the Screaming Eagles window cling. I have the obligatory soccer ball magnet on the back and on the tire (I have an SUV) on the back of the truck I have a bumper sticker I made myself, it has a picture of Dema on each side and the DCU logo in the middle. That's it I think.

Just curious...did you have any issues getting that plate? I mean, you do have a naughty word in the middle there that I don't think would even pass through the BS.com filters. :D

I saw (Maryland) GOALKPR in DC on Tuesday.
It was a new rust/copper high-end SUV-type car.
The driver was pretty heavy-footed, though so I never really saw who was driving.

Mine (Va) is DCU FAN with a small United sticker between the words - just like the ad for getting us a license plate looked.

Speaking of our failure to get the necessary 350 pre-paid applications to get the DCU Va plate - I found this list of folks who also DID NOT get the required number, and the one group who did get enough

H.B. 1749 Special license plates; expired authorizations.

Patron: Landes

Special license plates; expired authorizations. Repeals authorization for issuance of special license plates that have failed to meet the deadline for receipt of the minimum number of prepaid applications. The affected plates are those for: 1600 Communications Association, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Blue Knights, Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, Optimist International, Big Brother and Sisters of America, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, U.S. Pony Clubs, Mariner's Museum, Shenandoah National Park Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Town of Occoquan, County of New Kent, Burke's Station, Town of Smithfield, City of Salem, City of Portsmouth, values of diversity, Virginia Indian tribes, proud to be an American, Virginia zoos, crime prevention, first Africans in Virginia, Relay for Life, "God Bless America," Project Lifesaver, Interdenominational Children's Foundation, court-appointed special advocates, American Legion, U.S. Navy chief petty officers, Langley Air Force Base, paratroopers, Washington, D.C. United soccer, youth soccer, POW/MIA logo, children with special needs, childhood cancer awareness, American Cancer Society, retired law-enforcement officers, printers, beekeepers, motorcycle rider safety training program, barbershop quartet singing enthusiasts, professional stock car drivers, motor vehicle hobbyists, and Holstein dairy cow.

H.B. 1758 License plates, special; issuance to supporters of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Patron: Dillard

Special license plates; supporters of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Authorizes the issuance of special license plates to supporters of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The bill also repeals the 2002 statute that authorized issuance of special license plates for Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation volunteers. Rocky Mountain Elk foundation? We have no Rocky mountains or Elk in Virginia, do we?
Thankfully, MADD didn't get their own plate either, I hate every last one of those people. And I wasn't aware that Dairy Cows drove cars ;)

Nice catch on Jessica's plates - I guess all you have to do to get "********" past censors is stick it between double-Ds ;)
