The new system flat out sucks in my opinion - it seems like 99% of the time the guy is worthless across the board and the only way to make a good player is to load up on Nets so you will have guys waiting all season and making super players which I think will tank the game real quick. It will also put new clubs at a severe disadvantage from a funding ability perspective.

IMO this change was poorly thought out - the old system wasn't perfect either and product players who were too good on average. But they should have just toned the old system back rather than creating this catastrophe.

i thought you could only put a max of 12 towards one skill set.

I think I'll wait until week 3 and put 30 ITS's for a bowler -- 10 on stamina, 10 on bowling, and 10 on consistency. I figure I should get a reasonably good bowler with that.

Just pulled this with 7 batting ITS:
Kris Law - 17 yo, BT Rating=727
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A cautious player with woeful leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: feeble Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless

And now I've dropped my investment to 0 until I see people get some decent pulls.

RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A steady player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 3,278

Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: worthless

Good batting, and he's only 17... but would I be able to sell him? He sucks at everything else.

Also I got this by putting 2 ITS towards bowling and 0 towards everything else...

He would sell, but I would overprice him in case you get low balled

Or train him in batting and fielding to get his concentration up more quickly.

Stamina as well I guess.

How much is he worth? I usually just put guys on the list for $0 since I don't know anyone's value. :/

The old system's players were too good?? I never had a pull that had anything above woeful.

I think it was pretty common to pull a Mediocre/Respectable every three or four weeks.

see - I think you will find this is a pretty common story. With the new systems it appears much harder to pull such a player - which means when you do they will go for top dollar on the transfer market but I am still not convicned there is that much money in the system yet.
