he's not awful, just not good enough for us.

Where's the "Sell to Charlton" option?

Gardner plays like a Left Winger converted to Centre-Back...which is what he is..

He's so bad, he makes me pine for the days of Gary 'Ginger Pele' Doherty.

He's not a really bad player but he aint good enough for the starting line up. I wouldn't mind seeing Davenport ahead of him.

....so what you're really saying is that he really is bad, but you feel sorry for him. Right?

Gardner is a disgrace to the club. How in hell did he get capped by England?

He got capped cos all other decent english centre backs were injured. It was a friendly and he's never played ever again. Anyway, it's a good thing that he has played for england as we can sell him as a 25-year old england interenational and get double the money from charlton for him.....hopefully.

His problem is his lack of aggression, he's a big lad but allows himself to be bossed by players like de vries. He's ok back-up but we could do with someone a bit better. Huddlestone will be a good player for us once we get him back so i don't think Jol's gonna make any changes to centre back until the summer at least

His biggest problem is concentration - a common problem among many pro's.

I would add a new options: hit or miss

Sometimes he's a great player. Other times he makes me think Harry Kewel isn't the worst player in the EPL. But that won't cut it for a team that has apsirations for Europe. And having a liability like him makes Europe tenous when King is injured. Hopefully we can fall ass-backwards into another Dawson. We should bid on the next fattest person in the Championship and have that team throw in the CB.

No. His biggest problem is his appetite for the game. Slumped shoulders and looking at the ground when your team is 2-1 up is a travesty.

Huddlestone is coming back from Wolves, confirmed by Wolves. Hallelujah!

The attempted move for Vlaar said everything about Gardner's future, or lack of it.

He used to look on a par with Ledley, if not potentially more talented. Just doesn't seem to have put in the same effort to improve over the past couple of years. It's a shame.

Who the frigging hell is voting for Gardner as being a decent squad player?!

Seriously, that makes me annoyed. I may have to open a can of sarcasm on you idiots!

Huddlestone is coming back!!!

Hell yes! And we got Davenport in the background, wondering which other Championship team he can join on loan so he can add to his 'MOTM for Crap Teams' awards.

Curb's is interested in Gardner. No wonder his team are sinking fast.
